Moors and Christians in Moraira
The traditional Moros y Cristianos –Moors and Christians-2011 fiesta at Teulada-Moraira is in June, and the Schedule of events is as follows:
Saturday 11:
14:00 h: Paella contest and water fight
Sunday 12:
19:00 h: Start of the International Jazz, Folk, Rock and Country Music Festival.

Moors and Christians in Moraira
On the weekend of 11th and 12th December, the streets of Moraira are embellished to celebrate the “Mig Any” (Half Year) of the Moros y Cristianos -Moors and Christians Fiestas-. As the tradition advises, the General Committee organizes this fiesta for another year. The event will be celebrated, mostly, in the tent of “Les Sorts” parking area. This is the same spot where the VII Feria de Nuestro Comercio –Local trade fair- took place only a week ago.
