Mayoress Josefa Ronda sets up Local Development Agency
As from Monday, July 5th, Poble Nou de Benitachell now has a Local Development Agency office to provide advisory services, information and labour integration.
After the incorporation of Poble Nou de Benitachell to the Consortium for Economic Recovery and Activity of the Marina Alta (CREAMA), the Town Hall has taken a step further with the opening of the new office for the Local Development Agency (ADL) located in Padre Placido street number 16.

Watch the Grease musical in Valencia with the Benitachell Town Hall
The Poble Nou de Benitachell Town Hall and the Three Kings Association have organized a trip to Valencia to see the musical Grease at the Olympia Theatre on Sunday August 1st, 2010.
The Grease musical is based on the original play written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey in 1971 and has become the longest showing musical on Broadway, with a history of 12 Tony Awards. It is a large format musical that is committed to quality and spectacle, with live music and over thirty artists on stage. For this purpose, the musicals artistic team is headed by Ricard Reguant as the manager, Coco Comin in choreography and Manu Guix in musical direction, who also used, as a reference, the 1978 film that starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

Bowling in Benitachell
Benitachell Bowls Club, bowling in Benitachell, is an association of “bowling on grass” players which is a traditionally English game that is increasingly becoming popular on the Costa Blanca with the British residents in this area.
The Benitachell Bowls Club organizes courses for those wishing to learn to play this type of bowling, with courses for all levels, taught by experienced professionals, providing the participants with a certificate of attendance when the course is completed successfully. (more…)

One of the participating bikes at the Bikers Morning
The 1st Bikers Morning celebrated in Poble Nou de Benitachell 2010, last Sunday the 9th of May, was a real success and grouped together a total of 350 participants from all over the Valencian Region, from the towns of Torrent, Valencia, Ondara, Denia, Calpe, Teulada- Moraira, Benissa, Jalon, Alicante, Xativa, Benidorm, El Vergel y Javea.
The organisers ( Peña Els Taurons from Xabia/Javea and the Benitachell Frontenis Club), prepared a bike route around the Puig de la Llorença, which finished at the Benitachell football pitch.

Benitachell Town Hall
The Town Hall of Poble Nou de Benitachell (Alicante) is going to hold over the next few days public meetings addressed to all the towns’ residents to inform them of the projects currently being carried out.
In order to properly inform all the town residents, the meetings have been organized in several languages.
