Spanish classes for foreigners in Benitachell
Benitachell Town Hall opens the enrolment period for the Spanish courses for foreigners, those interested may register from the 15th of September to the 15th of October 2010, in the adult education centre. The courses start in October 2010 and continue until May 2011, a period of 8 months with two hours of lessons per week.

Benitachell courses available in September for adults and children
The registration period for serveral training courses in Poble Nou de Benitachell is open until the 30th of September 2010. The courses cover official training plus leisure, sports and culture. We attach below information on the courses so you can enrol if you are interested.
Local Adult education course: graduate courses in adult secondary education, Castellano and Valenciano classes for foreigners at different levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced and conversation), English, gymnastics, computers, yoga. Those interested can obtain more information at the Town Library, the telephone number is 96 649 37 56.

New petanque court at the Residential Kalmias green area, Cumbre del Sol.
The Town Hall of Poble Nou de Benitachell has completed the new petanque court, as requested by residents of the town during the public meetings held last spring.
The new petanque court is situated at the green area of Residential Kalmias, on Cumbre del Sol Urbanization, the fastest access to the new petanque court is the south entrance to the urbanization (Benitachell-Moraira road), turn right by Grupo VAPF’s South Information Office and after passing the two first streets of Residential Kalmias, turn left, enclosed map with directions.

Benitachell summer cinema program
For another year, during the summer season Benitachell offers its residents “cinema in the street“, a popular activity throughout all the towns, allowing for the enjoyment of the balmy summer nights in the open air whilst watching films during the whole month of August.
Under the heading “Cine al Carrer 2010″ Benitachell offers us every Wednesday, during the month of August, at 10:00pm at the towns Social Center, the following schedule:

New children's playground in Benitachell
Since mid-June the town of Poble Nou de Benitachell has a new playground for the little ones to enjoy.
The children’s playground is part of the works financed by the Plan E 2010 to be executed in the town. The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayoress Josefa Ronda, along with the municipal technician, Juan Felipe Ribes, and the developer responsible for the works, Mantengarden SL.

Fiestas in honour of Mary Magdalene in Benitachell
After the 2010 Moors and Christians fiestas in Benitachell, come the fiestas in honour of Saint Mary Magdalene 2010, from the 19th to 30th of July. Undoubtedly July is the most festive month of the year in Poble Nou de Benitachell
Twelve days of festivities in Benitachell that start with the celebration of the Triduum on the 19th, 20th and 21st, when on a daily basis a mass will be held in honour of Saint Roque, Saint Christopher, and St. James respectively.
