Success of the 1st Bikers Morning at Poble Nou de Benitachell

The 1^st Bikers Morning celebrated in Poble Nou de Benitachell 2010, last Sunday the 9^th of May, was a real success and grouped together a total of  350 participants from all over the Valencian Region, from the towns of Torrent, Valencia, Ondara, Denia, Calpe, Teulada- Moraira, Benissa, Jalon, Alicante, Xativa, Benidorm, El Vergel y Javea.

The organisers ( Peña Els Taurons from Xabia/Javea  and the Benitachell Frontenis Club),  prepared a bike route around the Puig de la Llorença, which finished at the Benitachell football pitch.

There they handed out trophies to the bike that had travelled from the furthest away town, the oldest biker, the most elegant bike, the biggest bikers group and the most personalized bike.

After handing out the trophies, they then had lunch and there was a performance by the rock music band La Rendición.

The organisers of this meeting and the Town Hall promise there will be a 2^nd Bikers Morning in Benitachell in 2011.
