Balconies and Facades Contest
Tomorrow Thursday 2 May is the last day to apply for the 2nd Balconies and facades Decoration Contest in Benitachell / Poble Nou de Benitachell on the occasion of La Rosa festival.
This contest was created to embellish the facade, balconies and streets of the town during the celebration of La Rosa festival. All residents and owners of a property in Benitachell can participate in this event as long as they sign in on time for this at the municipal library. (more…)
Moraig Beach
Benitachell city council just confirmed the starting of the works for the construction of 70 parking spaces in the vicinity of Cala Moraig. Benitachell’s Mayor Josep Femenia, together with technicians involved in the project, visited the area where the works will be carried out and stated that the parking will be completed before the start of the summer tourist season. The works will be executed by municipal services in collaboration with Grupo VAPF building company. (more…)
Fava and Wine Fest, Benitachell
Next weekend, the 1st Wine and Fava Festival will take place at Poble Nou de Benitachell, a festival which will award commercial wines produced in the municipality, homemade wines and farmers who harvested the biggest “fava”( broad bean) in town. (more…)
Tourist info Benitachell
The coordinator of Tourist Info Network of Alicante has recently approved the change of the location of Benitachell tourist office to a new spot more convenient for the tourist access.
The City Benitachell has received the approval of the Valencian Agency of Tourism in order locate the Tourist info in a new facility at Market Square, next to the municipal market and a few meters from City Hall and a parking area. (more…)
Moraig Cove
The Town of Benitachell has recently improved the access to Moraig Cove. The acces to the local beach was affected by a storm in November, but the recent maintenance works guarantee a smooth access to visitors arriving in peak season.
Last autumn storm swept rocks along the road and broke an important part of the car access area.
