You still have the opportunity to enjoy the guided tours to be held in Cumbre del Sol and Poble Nou de Benitatxell this July! In these routes you can have a pleasant walk and discover the beauty of the natural environment of the municipality.
During the next few days you can enjoy the following routes, some of them even pass through some parts of Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort:
Thursday 27 July
09:30 h.: Tour “History and Patrimony of the Town”, a historical, cultural and gastronomic tour at Benitatxell aimed to know the traditional architecture, including the “riuraus” and the wells of l’Abiar, Cueva de las Brujas archaeological site and monuments such as the Church of María Magdalena, Oratorio Jaume LLobell and “El Portalet” gate of the old city wall.
Friday 28 July
17:30 h.: Tour of the Cliffs. This tour runs next to the cliff along the Cumbre del Sol coast, and ends at Llebeig Cove. The tour allows you to enjoy magnificent sea views and geological formations such as the Moraig Fault and he ancient caves-shelter built with dry stone next to the rocky cliff wall.
The routes duration is about 2 hours and 30 minutes and the meeting point is at the Tourist Office located on 1, Mercado St.

This summer, the French Gendarmes Police Department will back up the work of the Spanish Guardia Civil in Benitatxell, helping French tourists who enjoy their holidays in Cumbre del Sol, Benitatxell and Jávea / Xàbia.
The duty of these agents will be to support Guardia Civil to inform and assist tourists from France and collaborate in investigations related to citizens of that country. The joint patrols will be effective from 1 July to 31 August. This joint program aims to keep citizen security in both local and foreign residents/tourists and boosting international cooperation.
Agents of Guardia Civil and French Gendarmerie will patrol Poble Nou de Benitatxell and Xàbia this summer and reinforce citizen security in the framework of Plan Turismo Seguro program, aimed to offer better service holiday makers both French and local.
Poble Nou de Benitatxell and Xàbia will have two French Gendarmes officers in July and two more in August. This cooperation held by Guardia Civil and Gendarmerie will help to promote the quality of police attention to the foreign tourist population in both locations.

Today we would like to bring you the information about a new activity taking place in Cumbre del Sol: “Route of the Cliffs”, a guided tour to be held every Friday at 17:30 h. from June to September.
The route runs along the cliff and ends at the paradisiac Llebeig Cove. The tour allows you to enjoy magnificent Mediterranean views and observe interesting geological formations such as the Moraig Fault and the old shelter caves built with dry stone next to the rocky cliff wall.
This activity is organized by the Town of Benitatxell and the duration of the route is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
If you want to participate in this guided tour, please register at the tourist office located on 1, Mercado St. (phone number +34 96 649 35 46, benitatxell@touristinfo.net).
Price: € 4 adults and € 2 children. For adding the option of tasting of local products in this tour, please add extra € 6 per adult and € 4 per child.
You can also arrange private tours for groups with a date and time to be agreed, provided there is a minimum of 8 people.

Cycling in Cumbre del Sol
On Wednesday 10 May, we will have the opportunity to see Miguel Indurain, Perico Delgado and Oscar Pereiro climbing by bike to Puig de la Llorença through Cumbre del Sol.
The race will start in Calpe and will go to Benitatxell through Moraira and up to Cumbre del Sol until the top of Puig (more…)
