The city of Benitatxell just released a new APP so that neighbors can communicate incidences on the public roads and streets.
This application for mobile and handheld devices allows neighbors to alert local authorities about incidents detected in public roads so they can be resolved as quickly as possible.
This is the perfect tool to communicate with the City Council, without having to go to the city hall or police station to fill in the entry records.
To have this application on your mobile you only have to access the Play Store of your mobile, write “Benitatxell” in the search engine and download the free application. The thumbnail of the application is the same image of the picture in the header of this post.
To report the incident, you only need to take a photo with your mobile and send it through this application. In addition, also through this application, you will receive information of interest about your neighbors such as, street diversions, public services contact numbers, etc.

Enjoy a wonderful sunset tour among the Vineyards of Poble Nou de Benitatxell and live a unique grape picking experience while you enjoy the astonishing Mediterranean sunset.
The tour offers several activities to know the agricultural district of the municipality while you stroll through a unique environment where the muscatel vineyards receive the breeze of the Mediterranean Sea that give our wine its extraordinary flavor.
Local farmers will teach you the techniques and harvesting traditions revolving around grape culture. You will have the opportunity to cut your own grapes from the vine and taste them. To end this unique experience, you will enjoy an outdoors dinner at the vineyards with dishes made with local produce and, of course, locally made wines and mistelas.

Hiking trails:
“Història i Patrimoni Pobler” Trekking tour, to be held on Thursdays at 09:30 h. This tour will take you to the countryside of the municipality and will show you the historical, cultural and gastronomic aspects of the region. You can visit the typical constructions of the area as “Els Riuraus” and “Pozos de L’Abiar”, the archaeological sites of the “Cova de las Bruixes” and significant architectonical monuments such as the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, the Oratory Jaume LLobell and the gate of the old wall locally known as “El Portalet”.
“The Cliffs Trail” walking tour every Fridays at 17:30 h. A guided tour along the coast of the municipality all the way to the Llebeig cove. You will be able to enjoy the magnificent views and observe the geological forms such as the Moraig Fault and the shelter caves built with dry stone next to the rocky cliff wall.

Sport activities

If you have recently moved to Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol and Spanish is not your mother language, you can sign in in the courses organized by the town council for residents who want to learn and / or improve their Spanish language skills.
You can enroll in the following courses:
Basic Spanish: begins on 3 October and classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:30 to 10:30 h. The price of the entire course is € 110.
Medium level Spanish: begins on 3 October and classes are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 h. The price of the full course is € 110.
Advanced Spanish: begins on 3 October and classes are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 to 12:30 h. The price of the full course is € 110.
Spanish language improvement: begins on 2 October and classes are taught on Monday and Wednesday from 09:30 to 10:30 h. The price of the full course is € 110.
Spanish conversational: begins on 2 October and classes are taught on Monday and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 h. The price of the full course is € 110.
Valencian language for foreigners (spoken): begins on 3 November and classes are taught on Fridays from 09:30 to 11:30. The price for the full course is 35 €.
Valencian Mid level: begins on 6 November and classes are taught on Mondays from 19:00 to 21:00 h. The price for the full course is 35 €.
The registration period is open from 1 to 29 September at the Library on Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 to 12:30 h. and on afternoons from Monday to Friday, from 16:30 to 19:30 h.

- Tuesday 22 August at 22:00 h.: Calistros Hike.
- Tuesday 29 August at 22:00 h.: Abiar Hike.
- Thursday 31 August at 22:00 h.: Calistros Walk.
All the hikes are organized by the City of Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
The starting point is from the Town Hall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell. In order to attend it is not necessary to register in advance; you just have to be there at the indicated time.
