Fiestas de la Rosa Festival in Benitatxell
Tomorrow kicks off the Fiestas de la Rosa Festival in Benitatxell, an we like to share with you the schedule of events programed in town from 5 to 8 May:
FRIDAY 5:
19:00h.: Parade and gathering of festeras beauty queens along with Santa María Magdalena Band of Benitatxell.
20:00 h.: Traditional dances at Oratorio Sq. to be performed by Morro Falquí Dance Company of Benitatxell. Aftyer that, there will be an offering of flowers to the Virgen de la Rosa.
00:00 h.: Verbena and live music with “Extremo” Orchertra at Les Pesqueres Sq.
SATURDAY 6:
09:00 h.: Paddle tennis Tournament
11:30 h.: Mass in honor of San Pancracio Martir and San Luis Gonzaga. Aftere the mass, the new mayor of San Pancracio will be proclaimed.
14:00 h.: “Great Cagada” at Les Pesqueres Sq. and fideuá contest ta La Pau and Mayor Streets.
17:00 h.: Costume parade
18:00 h.: Music at the streets at La Pau
20:00 h.: Free sandwiches at the casal.
00:00 h.: Verbena night at Les Pesqueres St. with “La Pato” Orchestra.
SUNDAY 7:
10:30 h: Departure of blessed breads from the oratory to the church.
11:00 h.: Mass in honor of the Virgin of the Rose and giveaway of the blessed bread
17:00 h.: Valencian Ball match.
20:00 h.: Solemn procession in honor to the Virgen de la Rosa, San Pancracio Martir and San Luis Gonzaga, then, fireworks show.
00:00 h.: Night of verbena at La Pau St.
MONDAY 8:
10:00 h.: Bouncy castle at La Pau St.
13:00 h.: Roosters race at La Pau St.
14:00 h.: Paella for everyone at La Pau and Mayor St.
16:00 h.: Cards games Championship
18:00 h.: Musical trio performance.
