Sex.Spot 2.0 is an sex education add contest for for young people organized by several towns in the Marina Alta among we can find Teulada, Benitachell, Denia, Javea, Benissa and Calpe.
The campaign is aimed at young people between 12 and 18 years old living in Marina Alta area who can present an individual or group project which must include one of the following messages:
Program for Senior Citizens in Christmas
Jávea’s Social Services Department opens the registration for the “Do not be alone on Christmas” aimed to senior citizens in town.
This program offers hotel stay during the holidays to people who don’t have a family or cannot be reunited with them during these holidays.
This program –aimed to citizens over 65 years old or over 60 years old for Spanish pensioners)- offers a stay between 23 and 27 December in Peñíscola with socio-cultural activities, medical assist, transportation and group insurance.
Benitachell Town Hall
During this first year of operations of the translation service of the City of Benitachell more than 1,150 people were attended and helped to improve communication among foreign residents and local government offices.
In addition to the Spain’s official languages, this service extends the possibilities of communication and citizen services in English, German and French. This service can be provided personally, by email or even via phone when the resident need to make an appointment in any office or health center.
Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC)
1st International Charity Festival of Benitachell will be held on Sunday 21 October, from 12:30 to 18:00 h. aimed to raise funds for the Marina Alta’s Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and Association of Parents (AMPA) of Santa Maria Magdalena School. This event will be organized by Benitachell Arts Centre and the collaboration of the Town of Benitachell.
Library of Poble Nou de Benitachell
The City of Poble Nou de Benitachell, reports that -as of 1 October- the enrollment period is open for the 2012-2013 Course for IVAJ (Valencian Office for the Youth) approved Children and Young Leissure Instructor. Lessons will take place from10 November to 23 March.
In order to improve cooperation and sharing municipal services, this course is organized along with the towns of Teulada, Benissa, Calpe, Jávea and Denia.
This activity will be taught by experts from ABAST School of Youth Entertaining, which will be on charge of the educational standards of animation, teamwork methodology, psychology, group dynamic, design and organization of leisure activities and workshops crafts, animation and others.

The Town of Poble Nou de Benitachell, along with the Department of New Technologies, has opened two free hotspots in strategic public places of the municipality, where everyone with an internet capable device (tablets, smartphones, laptops) can get free internet up to one hour a day.
