Program for Senior Citizens in Christmas
Jávea’s Social Services Department opens the registration for the “Do not be alone on Christmas” aimed to senior citizens in town.
This program offers hotel stay during the holidays to people who don’t have a family or cannot be reunited with them during these holidays.
This program –aimed to citizens over 65 years old or over 60 years old for Spanish pensioners)- offers a stay between 23 and 27 December in Peñíscola with socio-cultural activities, medical assist, transportation and group insurance.
All interested in this activity have to be fully self-dependent to perform basic activities of daily living, reside in Valencia Region and not have behavioral disorders or infectious diseases.
Enrolling takes place until 5 November in the Department of Social Services (2nd floor of the Community Center) or by making an appointment at 965 794 142, extension 1808.
