Moraig path
The Department of Environment Benitachell is organizing a guided hiking route to Llebeig Cove on Saturday 19 July.
The activity will be guided by a Town’s Department of Environment specialist who will provide information about the geological formations of the area as well as the typical fauna and flora. Those interested in attending must sign in at the tourist office (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 h) or via email at turisme@elpoblenoudebenitatxell.org. (more…)

Neighbor Watch in Cumbre del Sol
Neighbor Watch (“Vecinos Cooperando” in Spanish) initiative is now in Cumbre del Sol. This is a branch of the successful Neighbourhood Watch International Association.
More than 100 residents of Cumbre del Sol gather last Thursday 5 June at La Cumbre Restaurant to attend the presentation of the Vecinos Cooperando Association, where attendees could get the information about the other 50 chapters opened in Costa Blanca the last 15 years. (more…)

The town council of Benitachell published the basis for the awarding process of the last vacancy place in Benitachell market.

BUs schedule to Moraig Beach
The City of Benitachell launched a bus service to access Moraig Cove. This new service, along with the construction of new parking in Cala Moraig access (constructed with the collaboration of Grupo VAPF) will ease the transportation of holiday’s goers to the beach, since people can park their cars and enjoy a convenient access. Last Sunday 15 June began the bathing season on Moraig beach, which this year was awarded with a special Lifesaving Service distinction, which makes it one of the three best beaches in the Spanish coast according to ADEAC agency, the same office in charge of the Blue Flag, also awarded to Moraig.
Surveillance, first aid and nursing for swimmers will be offered in daily basis from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. The town council hired the company SVS for the management of municipal service due to the positive assessment of the service during the past two years. (more…)

Benitachell Swimming Pool
The first Multisport Summer School in Benitachell will offer recreational sport and group activities for children and youth from 8 to 17 years old during the school holidays.
The program consists of a wide range of activities including team sports, water sports, implement sports and popular games to be held in the sports area of La Font and the sports courts and field area of the Local Schools. (more…)
