We would like to share with you this month’s cultural alternatives offered at Teulada-Moraira Auditorium, one of the most important venues in the Costa Blanca North.
Saturday 1 June:
Musical event “Escuela de Calor” (School of Heat). A journey through the best of Spanish pop-rock featuring Alberto Comesaña (Amistades Peligrosas), Carlos Segarra (Los Rebeldes), Joaquin Padilla (Iguana Tango), Paula Sebastian and Plano Perea (La Trampa). Escuela de Calor is show with the biggest radio hits in Spain during the 80’s Madrid Scene. (more…)
AFA Teulada-Moraira
The Relatives of Alzheimer Patients Association of Teulada-Moraira (AFA), has organized several events and ceremonies coinciding with Alzheimer Week from 2 to 5 November, 2011.
The acts and events are aimed to raising awareness about people with Alzheimer’s disease, supporting the families of people suffering from this disease and raise funds to continue the valuable work done through its Day Centre
Querida Matilde arrives in Teulada-Moraira
The tickets for the events taking place in the Teulada-Moraira auditorium next September 2011 are already on sale.
The season opens with a traditional jazz show by the Germans Bourbon Street Stompers on 3 September. This group is made by 7 musicians and one of the best clarinet and sax players in the UK, John Maddocks, and the fantastic jazz singer Elisabeth Berent, from Hamburg. The admission is 12 EUR.
The Alicante Youth Orchestra
The Teulada-Moraira Auditorium recently opened its doors a couple of months ago and the long list of concerts, plays and exhibitions held in this venue to date make it seem like it was ages since the first event took place.
In July, the Auditorium welcomes a talented group of musicians: The Orquesta de Jóvenes de la Provincia de Alicante —the Alicante Province youth Orchestra.
