AFA Teulada-Moraira
The Relatives of Alzheimer Patients Association of Teulada-Moraira (AFA), has organized several events and ceremonies coinciding with Alzheimer Week from 2 to 5 November, 2011.
The acts and events are aimed to raising awareness about people with Alzheimer’s disease, supporting the families of people suffering from this disease and raise funds to continue the valuable work done through its Day Centre

Wednesday 2 November:
Laughter Therapy Workshop by Ms. M ª Carmen Mudarra Grande, Psychologist of Alzheimer Day Center of Teulada-Moraira.

Thursday 3 November:
Crafts Workshop by Ms. Raquel Barranquero Franco, Assistant and Ms. Maria Aurora Garcia Wic, Social Worker of Alzheimer Day Center of Teulada-Moraira

Friday 4 November:
12:00 h: Mass for the Alzheimer patients at the Day Centre
18:00 h: Screening of the film “Bicycle, Spoon, Apple,” a documentary of Pascual Maragall (Catalan politician and Alzheimer patient)
Saturday 5 November:
Charity Dinner and musical show at Salones Canor.
