The tickets for the events taking place in the Teulada-Moraira auditorium next September 2011 are already on sale.
The season opens with a traditional jazz show by the Germans Bourbon Street Stompers on 3 September. This group is made by 7 musicians and one of the best clarinet and sax players in the UK, John Maddocks, and the fantastic jazz singer Elisabeth Berent, from Hamburg. The admission is 12 EUR.
The next event is on 18th September: “Querida Matilde”, starred by Lola Herrera, with the special appearance of Ana Labordeta and Daniel Freire.
This theatre play is the adaptation of the work by Israel Horowitz from Antonio Albert. The director is Juan Luis Iborra, script and writer. Matilde (Lola Herrera) is a seasoned woman who happens to receive and unexpected visit.
Matthias just arrived from Buenos Aires to look after the inheritance left by his father: a luxurious flat in the city. What Matthias does not know is that Matilde and her daughter live in the flat and he will inherit it only after she dies —something that is not in her short or mid-term plans.
Matilde only agrees to rent him a room until he returns to his country. Matilde’s daughter is puzzled. She does not understand the reason for an stranger to arrive home and try to kick them out. But she and Matthias will soon discover the story behind Matilde as the play unwinds. The admission is 12 EUR.
The tickets can be bought at Servicam, the box offices of the auditorium from 16:00 to 21:00 h from Wednesday to Saturday, in the Town Hall or in Espai La Senieta.
