Cumbre del Sol is, without doubt, a paradise on the Costa Blanca. Living here means relaxation and admiring the wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea every day from your own home. However, it’s not just tranquillity that you will enjoy here; this area offers a wide range of services such as the Dylan Mary Tennis Academy which is the perfect option for those who live in Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort and love this sport. The academy enjoys a strategic location just 10 minutes from Moraira and 20 minutes from Jávea.
Dylan, the owner of the academy, is 30 years old and a professional tennis coach from France. He began playing tennis at the age of 13 and has been working as a trainer for 14 years. He has extensive experience, having worked as the head coach for professional tennis players from France, England and Spain before settling in this paradise location in Costa Blanca North.
Now that he has his own tennis academy in Cumbre del Sol, he teaches classes for people of all ages and levels. There are groups for children from two to three years old in which they are introduced to the sport in a fun and playful way; classes for children aged four to seven where they can learn the basic concepts and develop their hand-eye coordination; and classes for children and teenagers from age eight to seventeen. Dylan also offers an elite training programme for teenagers in which your children will receive intense, high performance training. He also gives classes for adults of all ages and private classes for those who want to perfect their game.
While group classes are taught on specific days, the timetable for private classes is very flexible. There are classes all year round, from Monday to Sunday and from 9am to 10pm. As pupils are of a variety of nationalities, classes are taught in several languages: Spanish, English and French. No previous experience is required, so join the academy and enjoy playing tennis against the backdrop of the impressive views of Cumbre del Sol.
At the moment the academy has two tennis courts, though two new courts will be ready soon. There is also the possibility of a new tennis centre being opened, which would have 6-8 courts. Right now, the children are training for the next tournament which will take place on the 8th December while the adults are already getting ready for the tournament on the 23rd March.
If you would like more information, see the tennis academy website or get in touch with Dylan through his social media pages.

Aside from offering us the nutrients we need to ensure that our bodies function as they should, food for many is a true pleasure. With the help of some, it can almost be a work of art!
The Mediterranean coastline has always been recognised for its cooking and the quality of its produce, but this time it has gone one step further. The 2019 Michelin Guide has now announced the restaurants which will have a new star next year, and several are close to Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort!
The city of Calpe, half an hour away from us, has become a great culinary destination. The influence of the Mediterranean diet, and the creation of restaurants which continually reinvent themselves, has led to it gaining two new stars. This makes a total of three Michelin stars in the city, if we count the one earned last year by the restaurant Audrey’s led by Rafa Soler.
Beat is one of the establishments to have earned a new Michelin Star. This restaurant is found within The Cookbook, a boutique hotel focused on transcendental culinary experiences. The chef is José Manuel Miguel, who during his stay in France spent time working in two one-Michelin-starred restaurants: Il Vino and Goust. Beat offers us “a journey through the sea and the land where flavours, colours, and aromas flow and merge together, creating emotions”.
The other establishment to have achieved a Michelin Star is the restaurant Orobianco located in Colina Home Resort, a comfortable resort with spectacular views of the Peñon de Ifach. The creative mind of Italian Enrico Croatti surprises every palate with haute cuisine and his unrivalled signature style in this fabulous restaurant.
These two new Michelin Stars join the three at Quique Dacosta en Denia, the two at Bon Amb in Javea (very close to Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort) and the one at Casa Pepa in Ondara. All this means that those who live in Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort can enjoy typical Mediterranean cuisine and that even the most discerning palates have their place. Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort is an experience for all five senses!

Living in Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort means living with nature all around you. As well as the incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea, there are also large green areas and numerous natural parks, one of which is Granadella Natural Park.
So, if you dream of living by the sea and enjoying the Mediterranean climate in a unique location all year long, Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort will be your paradise! To make the most of the beautiful spots which surround Cumbre del Sol, we recommend going on the area’s main hiking routes. The mild autumn temperatures are also idea for exploring, so put on your comfiest shoes…and get walking!
The most famous hiking route in the area is the well-known Ruta de los acantilados or the Cliffs Route. Benitatxell boasts a 2-kilometre coastline which is full of these spectacular geographical features, some of which are more than 100 metres above sea level. This route separates Cala del Moraig from Cala Llebeig, is 4 kilometres long, normally takes an hour, and is of low to medium level difficulty. It is part of the S.L V-50 and, thanks to its geographical location, it offers some unique views of the sea as well as typical vegetation in the area and old caves which were used by fishermen in the past. The starting point for this route is the car park above Cala del Moraig.
The Ruta dels Testos is significantly shorter, though no less interesting. Its duration is only 20 minutes, of linear distance, and the starting point is the same as for the Ruta de los acantilados: the car park above Cala del Moraig. This route is of high difficulty though and is not recommended for beginners, as one of the sections requires the use of ropes. It is completed by following the course of the Barranc de l’Infern in its final section towards to the sea. Throughout the route, it’s possible to reach an area with crystal-clear waters which is only accessible from here or by sea: Cala dels Testos. Just a few metres from the end of the route, in the most difficult section, it is also possible to access the Cova dels Testos, where there is an observation point offering wonderful views which definitely make this route worth it.
Another interesting trail for hiking, which begins halfway down to Cala del Moraig, is the Falla del Moraig route. This is a fairly short trail, with a linear length of only 276 metres, whose objective is to see the Falla del Moraig, or Moraig Fault, a monument of cultural interest which gives the route its name. One of the interesting things about this path is that it offers a unique view of Cala del Moraig as well as the opportunity to see interesting formations created by erosion and the passing of time. This route is of low to medium difficulty.
If you are looking for a hiking route which is completely different to those mentioned previously, you’re sure to enjoy the Abiar-Calistros route which, as well as being circular, begins and ends in the centre of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, in Market street. This route is 7.5 kilometres long and of low difficulty. On the way, it takes us through the Plaza del la Iglesia as well as el Portalet, where there is an observation point with wonderful views, while on the section camí de la Torreta the landscape is filled with vineyards and in the following section there is an ancient system of natural wells which provided the area with water until the 1970s. As a result, it’s a great choice for those who want to explore Benitatxell and some of the identifying features of the region.
On all of the trails mentioned here we recommend taking plenty of water to last throughout the walk, as some of the routes don’t have fountains to help you stay hydrated. We would also recommend taking a camera to capture the wonderful sea views, and if you go on the route in summer, don’t forget your swimsuit so you can take a dip in the crystal-clear water in the coves.
As well as connecting with nature while enjoying the incredible landscapes, it is our responsibility to take care of it, leaving as little trace of our presence as possible and making sure not to leave rubbish behind us. Respect the environment and discover one of the most valuable areas of environmental and scenic interest in the community of Valencia.

Though the end of summer has indeed arrived in some regions, this is not the case in Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. Thanks to the wonderful climate on the Costa Blanca, those who love diving can continue to enjoy steady sea temperatures and do the activity they love. The blue hues of the water, the seaweeds, the huge variety of fish, and the hidden caves make every dive an unforgettable experience.
One of the most visited caves is Cueva de los Arcos, located just metres from Cumbre del Sol Residential resort on Moraig Beach. This underwater route is suitable for divers of medium ability and provides the chance to admire the area’s characteristic sea bed: the play of light, rocky areas, and a huge cliff will help you discover this underwater wonder. An interesting feature is the low salinity of the water, the result of the fact that at this point the salty water joins fresh water from Río Blanc or Río del Moraig. The species you might see on the way are moray eels, wrasses, and even an octopus in this bright Posidonia Oceanica meadow.
If you would prefer to leave the oxygen tank behind and go snorkelling instead, head to Moraira, just a few kilometres from Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. The relatively shallow depth means that you can do it using goggles, a snorkel, flippers, and wetsuit. You are sure to be surprised by the white sands dotted with Posidonia.
Are you looking for something of a more professional level? Then it’s time to head to Javea. Its 25 kilometres of coastline, with the variety of its sea beds and the rich diversity of flora and underwater species, make it a true paradise for scuba diving enthusiasts. Features worth highlighting include the algae in the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, the Posidonia Oceanica in Javea Bay, the soft sea beds in Calablanca, the photophilic algae in Granadella, and the Sciaphilic Algae in Portitxol.
We can also choose Altea and go underwater at Morro de Toix, which is characterised by the sunken islands and fauna such as lobsters, sea cicadas, meagre, moray eels, and conger eels.
You will find all these underwater routes and many more very close to Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, where you’ll enjoy not just the summer but the whole year!
