The City of El Poble Nou is looking for volunteers to carry out fire prevention in the town surroundings. As we have been told at the municipal Environment Department, volunteering in surveillance and fire prevention will be held during the last week of September, according to the deadlines set by the Council, which also was the office that approved the grant to carry out this environmental works. Shoreline cleanup Moraig Cove
On Sunday 14 September will be held a day of cleaning the Benitachell coastline, specifically the Moraig Cove and its seabed.
This is the last activity that is taking place within the framework of 2014 Blue Flag program. Those interested in participating can collaborate both in cleaning the beach and seabed, in the case they are proficient in diving. (more…)

BioMoscatell collection
Today we would like to share the pictures sent to us by the City of Benitachell of the first guided route to the Muscat grape district.
Fifteen people participated in this first tour and they could check all details of the stages of grape cultivation, tasted the grapes and even collected the fruits with their own hands before enjoying a traditional dinner at sunset in a unique setting among vineyards.
Tasting of local dishes
Attendees could also see firsthand the BioMoscatell project; a commitment by the municipality for the ecological conservation of local Muscat sowing.

Sports in Benitatxell
Registration period is now open for sports lessons in Poble Nou de Benitachell, with a wide range of options for everyone: swimming, futsal, football 8, basketball, tennis, karate, Valencian ball, racquetball, gymnastics, volleyball, golf and paddle tennis.
Those who wish to participate in any of these sports may enroll in the Municipal Library until 30 September from 09:30 to 13:30 h. and from 16:30 to 19:30 h. The price of these courses is 75 € plus 35 € for enrollment fee. (more…)

Library of Poble Nou de Benitachell
30 September is the deadline for enrollment for 2014-2015 courses in the center for adult education and sports in the Poble Nou de Benitachell. The School of Music and Dance will open enrollment from 8 to 19 September and swimming lessons registration period will be open from 16 to 30 September. (more…)
