Benitachell Curch’s Dome
Last Friday we had the opportunity to visit the Church of Benitatxell and see the evolution of the restoration works of its dome, unique for its modernist zigzag.
We had the opportunity to visit the church in the company of Benitachell Mayor Josep Femenia, Culture Councilman Manolo Segarra, the parish priest, Guillermo Gilabert, and Josep Ivars, director of works and architectural specialist in Heritage, who also explained that the dome’s singularity lies in its unique zigzag drawing. Walking Trail Benitachell
Open enrollment for the Volta a Peu (Walking race) to Poble Nou de Benitatxell. This race is taking place on 23 April and will be the sixth date of the Marina Alta walking Circuit.
The fifth race of this walking race circuit (“XIV Cursa Popular Teulada”) is taking place today in Teulada. (more…)

Today we would like to bring to all residents of Benitachell and Cumbre del Sol an overview of the latest news provided by the city council:
– A new skatepark was built at the park behind the church. There are a set of ramps and elements approved to the practice of skate, BMX and scooters. The skatepark was designed by Fhire Garcia, skateboarder and owner of Maniak Ramps. (more…)
