Benitachell Curch’s Dome
Last Friday we had the opportunity to visit the Church of Benitatxell and see the evolution of the restoration works of its dome, unique for its modernist zigzag.
We had the opportunity to visit the church in the company of Benitachell Mayor Josep Femenia, Culture Councilman Manolo Segarra, the parish priest, Guillermo Gilabert, and Josep Ivars, director of works and architectural specialist in Heritage, who also explained that the dome’s singularity lies in its unique zigzag drawing.
We could see that the refurbishment works of the dome are soon to be completed.
From Grupo VAPF we are proud to have contributed in the restoration of the dome of the church of Santa María Magdalena, a reference of typical Catalan and Valencian modernism.
