Hiking trails in Javea
Attention all hikers and outdoors sports lovers!: Check below the upcoming hiking trails organized in the town of Javea, just 7 km. from Cumbre del Sol.
The next meeting will take place on Sunday 10 June at 09:00 h. for the low difficulty walking trail activity from La Barraca to Prim Cape. This activity is free of charge and pre-registration is not required, but you have to be at the meeting point (Barraca Cove parking area) before 09:00 h. Make sure to bring water, food, hiking shoes, camera and swimsuit to enjoy the clear waters of Barraca cove.
The Moraig Cove in Poble Nou de Benitatxell
With the arrival of April, the weather invites to go out and enjoy the fresh breeze and the warm sun. We thought it would be a good idea to share some information about one of the most beautiful hiking paths across Costa Blanca north: the “Ruta de los Acantilados” or cliffs’ path, starting on Cala Moraig cove and ending on Cala Llebeig cove, At Cumbre del Sol, in Poble Nou de Benitachell town.
This route takes about 2 hours to complete (1 hour back, 1 hour forth) and is considered to be of medium difficulty.
Benimantell Sella Route
On 12th March at 08:30 h, a hiking tour will depart from the Teulada Town Hall Square to the PRV-9 Sella Benimantell route.
The path is 17 km long and is of medium difficulty.
The route goes through the points mentioned below: Link to PRV-10 in Sella, Fuente l’Alcàntera, link to PRV-198, Fuiente de l’Arc, Mas La Bodegueta, Collado del Comptador, link to PRV-44, Font del Molí, link to PRV-44 and Benimantell.

“Senderismo Oltà Circular” is the name of this guided hiking tour that explores the mountains of Olta, its nature and scenic vistas. This is a medium to low difficulty route organized by the Tourism Office of the Town Hall of Calpe, together with the Archaeological Museum of Calpe, the Penon de Ifach Nature Parka and CEMAS.
