If you are spending the 2016 Easter holidays in Cumbre del Sol (Poble Nou de Benitatxell) and you enjoy open air activities such as trekking and climbing, you will find useful information below about 4 interesting hiking trails:

Penya-Segats Cliffs (SL V-50)

This route allows you to enjoy a wonderful view, Mediterranean vegetation path andt ancient caves used by fishermen. The path ends at Llebeig Cove. The route is oriented eastbound, so during morning time the sun is very intense. Sun protection is advisable.

Difficulty: Medium

Departure point: Moraig cove upper parking lot, Cumbre del Sol.

Testos Path

The route runs along the bed of Barranc de l’Infern (Hell Canyon) in its last stretch of drain to the sea where meets Testos Cove, a small paradise of crystal clear water. This route is highly difficult so it is recommended only for people with good physical condition.

Departure point: Moraig cove upper parking lot, Cumbre del Sol.

Moraig Fault Route

A route with spectacular views that leads to the fault of Moraig, an almost vertical rock wall that seems suspended over a lagoon and inside houses an underwater gateway to Riu Blanc River.

During the tour we stop at a viewpoint where you can see astonishing views of Moraig Beach and Cape La Nao.

This route is low-medium difficulty.

Abiar / Calistros Route

The route kicks off from Market Street and shows you the beauty of agricultural landscape of the municipality and Muscat vineyards. During this route we can contemplate the Church of St. Maria Magdalena, El Portalet, Pous de l’Abiar, l’Abiar Recreation Area and Riurau.
