Aachen in Xàbia
German artists are displaying their works in in Al Marge, Espai Lambert and Casa del Cable Galleries in Jávea. These exhibitions are made possible thanks to the collaboration of the City of Jávea and the city of Aachen, Germany.
The collaboration held by the City of Jávea, Al Marge Espai d’Art, the City of Aachen and Atelierhaus and Galerie 45 galleries, have managed to create the project Aachen in Javea / Javea in Aachen that will be in both cities of Aachen (Germany) and Javea (Spain) during the months of August and September 2013 . One of the many artworks on exhibition by Chype
The second fortnight of February comes full of cultural activities in Jávea. The fields of sculpture, painting and photography are the main activities available in town throughout the week (and until the end of the month). Read below the times and dates of the exhibitions in Jávea:

Enric Valor
The Public Library of Javea will hold an exhibition from 17th to 29th January, to commemorate the birth of Enric Valor.
This eminent man from Castalla -province of Alicante- dedicated a short period of his life to the shoe industry -a historically strong sector in the area. Then, in 1930, he started a cultural and literary career as a writer in an Alicante newspaper.
Enric Valor was a strong defender of the Valencian language. This firm republican intellectual never gave in any political pressures. Until the day he died, in 2000, Enric was a tenacious promoter of his cultural, linguistic and political ideas.
