Aachen in Xàbia
German artists are displaying their works in in Al Marge, Espai Lambert and Casa del Cable Galleries in Jávea. These exhibitions are made possible thanks to the collaboration of the City of Jávea and the city of Aachen, Germany.
The collaboration held by the City of Jávea, Al Marge Espai d’Art, the City of Aachen and Atelierhaus and Galerie 45 galleries, have managed to create the project Aachen in Javea / Javea in Aachen that will be in both cities of Aachen (Germany) and Javea (Spain) during the months of August and September 2013 .
This artistic exchange program between the two cities will be filled with the works of 14 artists selected by Renate Hoffman and Nadya Bascha from Atelierhause and Galerie 45 of Aachen. Later in September, Aachen city will host the works of 10 Spanish artists curated by Manolo Oyonarte from Al Marge Espai d’art.
Among the German artists exhibiting their works in Jávea we can mention:
Gundolf Bruchhaus, Axel Friedrich, Hella Frowein, Rolf Jägersberg, Janek Markstahler, Karl von Monschau, Renate Müller-Drehsen, Frank Posthoff, Bernd Radtke, Theo Ramrath, Michael Schulze, Yvonne Schweidtmann, Achim Franz Willems and Andrea Zang.
This important art event opened on Friday 2 August at Espai Lambert, Al Marge Espai d’Art and Casa del Cable. Open until 27 August.
