We are glad to bring you this month the cultural programming of the Teulada-Moraira Auditorium.
Saturday 2 March at 19:00 h.: Leo Harlem and Sinacio present the standup comedy show “Cómicos”. This show aims to offer a hard to find kind of entertainment: humor. Ticket price € 20.
Benissa Charity Festival
Next 23 and 24 February will takes place in Benissa’s Centre D’Art Taller d’Ivars the 5th Charity Festival organized by the AECC (Spanish Cancer Association). The event will start at 19:00 h. both days.
The program is currently being developed by the Department of Culture of Benissa along with all the artists and groups that will act and all the volunteers who selflessly got involved in the project.
Xabia Al Plat gastronomic event
As usual during the month of March, the Association of Restaurant and Bars owners of Xàbia will delights us with “Xàbia al Plat” gastronomic event which will take place from 4 to 14 March.
With “Xàbia al Plat” (Xàbia in a dish) you will enjoy the variety of the local cuisine on the tables of 14 restaurants that will offer a tasting menu for a flat rate, all paired with superb Valencia wines.
Lions Club Spain
Grupo VAPF is gladly collaborating with the eyeglass collection charity organized by the Lions Club. VAPF has located in its offices a collector case where local people can place their old or disused glasses to be sent to the Club.
The glasses received by Lions Club and other volunteers will be recycled in Spain, one of the club’s ten collection centers in the world. The used eyeglasses are cleaned, repaired and classified by prescription. Later, Lions volunteers -and other organizations aiming to protect the eyes of people in developing countries- distribute the glasses to the needy.
Granadella Cove
Mountain Llebeig (mountain section of Llebeig Athletic Club of Javea) is organizing the first Half Marathon along the mountain forest zone of Granadella. The “Granadella Trail” will take place on Sunday 17, but registration will be close son due to the unexpected amount of applications.
The Granadella Trail race will kickoff at 9:30 h. from Pinosol park and will run along a path under pine trees, forest trails and ravines with technical points, such as Gurugú and Teuleries slopes up to the Llevant viewing point and then down to the Castell of Granadella and the beach before returning to Pinosol Park.
Movies in Jávea
Jayan Cinema of Jávea, as it is one of the few theaters in the area that offers film in original language.
