Everything is ready for the Oktoberfest Beer Festival to be held on 6, 7, 8 and 9 October at Teulada-Moraira! The marquee is all set at Les Sort car parking (Moraira).
During these four days, more than 3,000 liters of beer will be served, and entertainment is guaranteed with the performance of a German musical duo in the morning and afternoon, and a mobile DJ set on Friday and Saturday nights.
You may also enjoy typical German dishes such as bratwurst sausages, meatloaf in a bagel, roasted potato with fine herbs fresh cheese, pretzels with butter, potato salad and Sauerkraut among others.

Enjoy a wonderful sunset tour among the Vineyards of Poble Nou de Benitatxell and live a unique grape picking experience while you enjoy the astonishing Mediterranean sunset.
The tour offers several activities to know the agricultural district of the municipality while you stroll through a unique environment where the muscatel vineyards receive the breeze of the Mediterranean Sea that give our wine its extraordinary flavor.
Local farmers will teach you the techniques and harvesting traditions revolving around grape culture. You will have the opportunity to cut your own grapes from the vine and taste them. To end this unique experience, you will enjoy an outdoors dinner at the vineyards with dishes made with local produce and, of course, locally made wines and mistelas.

Last week we visited the recreational area recently built by the town (Ajuntament) of Benitatxell at the Kalmias Zone, located next to the boules court of the of the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol.
In this recreational area, local residents and visitors may enjoy the playground, bio-healthy fitness park (especially thought for senior residents) and a picnic area.
The GPS coordinates of the Kalmias recreational area are: 38.710496, 0.154428, so you can navigate to that place or check it Google Maps.

The Lions Club (Club de Leones) of Teulada-Moraira is organizing a concert for next Sunday 24 September performed by The Overtones Tribute Band at Moraira’s “Espai la Senieta” hall (15, Madrid Ave.). The event is taking place at 20:00 h.
The admission for this charity concert is a donation € 15 per person, which will also include a wine of honor and participation in a raffle.
The Overtones Tribute Band will perform their repertoire featuring songs by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison.

If you are a foreigner and a full time resident in Cumbre del Sol or any other residential area of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, you might find useful this information. The City Council and the Diputación de Alicante organized the “Days to promote the integration of foreign citizens”, aiming to inform to foreigners how the local administration works and the possibilities it can offer to all.
The conferences/lectures will be held on 19, 20 and 21 September from 16:00 to 19:00 h. at Espai Abiar.
