Last Thursday, 14 December took place the awards ceremony of the first Christmas Decorations Contest of the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol: a fun, family oriented and very emotional event that allowed us to spend a few hours with local residents and toast together for Happy Holidays.
From Grupo VAPF we want to thank all the neighbors who participated in the contest; all of them did a great job, which made the task of the jury very difficult.
Shortly we will bring you a photo gallery with the decorations of the participating houses, as well as the awards ceremony.
Today we attach to this post the photo of the winners in the category of “Outdoor Decoration-Garden and lighting.”
Next year we will repeat the contest as this year we had a very good experience and it was a pleasure to start the Christmas celebrations in such a good company.

If you are going to spend Christmas at the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, you will find useful the program of activities scheduled for this holidays season in Benitatxell, so you can enjoy all the events and activities organized in town as you can see below:
Friday 8 December: Inauguration of the Nativity Scene and decoration of the Christmas tree at 12:30 h. at Church Sq, and market Sq. After the inauguration, the choir of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell will sing Christmas carols.
Sunday 10 December: Christmas Market, from 10:00 to 14:00 h. at Mayor St. and La Pau St. The “Burreta de Nadal” (Christmas dorkey) will visit the market at 12:45 h. to collect the children’s letters to the Santa Claus.
Wednesday 13 December: Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir Christmas Concert at 19:00 h. at the Church of Sta María Magdalena.
Wednesday 20 December: Concert by Christian Fellowship at 11:00 h. at the Market Square.
Sunday 24 December: Visit of Santa Claus and his elves at the Church Sq. at 17:30 h. with surprises for children. The children will be able to greet Santa Claus and give him his letter with the gifts request.
Wednesday 27 December: Christmas concert at 20:00 h. at the Church of Sta María Magdalena with the performance of Christmas carols and poems.
