Living Chess in Jávea
The 20th Jávea’s Living Chess – declared an event of National Tourist Interest – is going to take place on Saturday 30 July 2016from 20:00 h. This year’s theme will be “The Myth of the Cave of Plato”
This year’s theme is an allegorical tale with which Plato explains his theory of the existence of two worlds: the sensible world of appearances (which we perceive through the senses) and the world of ideas: the real one but only attainable only through reason. This Myth metaphorically describes the relation of the human being with these two worlds of knowledge. (more…)

Today we would like to share with you the information about “El Puerto de los Sueños” (“The Port of Dreams”), a theatrical route to be held along the Xàbia port area on 29 July and 12 August at 19:00 h.
In this dramatized route you will witness the adventures of an old sailor, an artist, exiled Russians, pirate ship and the people living by the old port that helped to build the essence of the nowadays Jávea. (more…)
