With the new year comes a time for reflection, and it’s the perfect time to think about new goals and resolutions. So, if you are short of ideas, we want to give you a hand by offering some suggestions.
If you don’t like the cold and live in an area where the winter is usually intense, you probably dream of going somewhere warmer and sunnier, either to settle down permanently or just once in a while to spend a few days away. The Costa Blanca is the perfect place because of everything it offers: culture, gastronomy, an ideal climate and fantastic beaches. 2020 is coming to an end and it’s time to bid it farewell in the company of our loved ones. We have all lived through difficult times, but the Christmas holidays will hopefully bring a little happiness, joy and magic into our lives. That is why we want to take advantage of this time to be with our immediate family (always respecting safety measures), but above all we want to thank you for trusting us and deciding to be part of the VAPF family.
As you may know, we had to cancel all the events that we are used to holding at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, but we were very lucky to be able to host one major event: the Region of Valencia Tennis Challenge. But unfortunately, we weren’t able to celebrate Saint John’s Eve, Belgian National Day and our traditional Christmas decoration competition as we do together every year. We did, however, decorate the residential complex to spread a little holiday cheer in this beautiful setting and we invite you to do the same so that Christmas reaches every corner of Cumbre del Sol. Trees, Christmas balls, garlands, lights… let yourself get carried away by this festive season and let’s end the year on a more positive note. Needless to say, we hope to meet again soon at one of the many events we usually organize to take advantage all the many wonders of the Costa Blanca together.

Winter is the perfect season to enjoy different outdoor activities with lower temperatures and less people than the summer brings. There are activities for all tastes and just a few kilometres from your home. You can stay around Cumbre del Sol and play a game of tennis or paddle, go for a horse ride or even go hiking on one of the many trails to discover the coast or the Granadella Natural Park. If you’ve already soaked up everything that Cumbre del Sol has to offer and you want to live new adventures, you can always explore the regions of Marina Alta, Marina Baixa and l’Alacantí.
Discover the history of these three regions of the province of Alicante by visiting the most symbolic towns. You can start by conquering the tallest mountains in the region, set new challenges by practicing extreme sports or admire the beauty of nature and the sea by following the different trails that pass through some of the natural parks or along the coast. Living on the Costa Blanca gives you a unique opportunity to enjoy both the mountains and the sea.
In addition, the city of Alicante has started a new campaign to show that water sports can be done year-round. Since the end of October, Alicante’s tourism department has been organising numerous free activities that you can participate in every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the beaches of Postiguet and San Juan until the last weekend of December. Spots are limited, so you will have to register and wait for confirmation. Finally you can try out sports such as: paddle surfing, SUP yoga, sea kayaking, surfing, bodyboarding and boot camp. On the official Alicante tourist office website you can consult the timetables, activities and registration.

VAPF is currently launching a job offer to work, full time, at the VAPF Store office in Moraira, a customer service office located on one of the town’s main streets. As it is a tourist destination, it will be necessary to have hourly availability during the summer months.
We are looking for a professional profile with experience in the area of selling luxury homes to international clients for at least 2 years. Therefore, the following language skills will be an essential requirement: French (high level), English (high level) and Spanish (medium level). You must have sufficient Spanish level to be able to communicate with the team members of the other offices. Any other language is a plus.
The job responsibilities to be carried out by the employee are, mainly, attending to a real estate point of sale, attracting clients to the point of sale, managing collaborators and presenting real estate properties.
Job requirements: sales experience, knowledge of MS-Office, teamwork skills, proactive skills to attract customers, excellent interpersonal skills and strong sense of team spirit; in addition to good character and professional appearance, a high degree of commitment and independent way of working and knowledge of the real estate sector.
