Bous a La Mar Fiesta
Festivals go on in Jávea, where the celebrations in the port in honor of Our Lady of Loreto will enliven the end of summer in town. Check below the activities schedule in Jávea until 8 September:
TUESDAY 4 SEPTEMBER
12.00 h and 19.00 Bous a la Mar (bulls at the sea) and at 23:30 h. Bous al Carrer in the area of the port with embolado bull (bull set in fire)
WEDNESDAY 5 SEPTEMBER
Fiestas in Jàvea’s Harbour
Today we want to inform all followers of the Cumbre del Sol Blog about the festivities that will take place in Jávea’s Duanes del Mar seaport from 27 August to 8 September. These fiestas will be held in honor of the patron saint of the port of Javea, the Virgin of Loreto also called “Mare de Déu de Loreto”

Bous a La Mar Fiesta
As July arrives in Dénia, also do “Bous a la Mar” (Bulls at the Sea), a very traditional festival taking place not only in Dénia, but also in Jávea and Moraira. The ones in Dénia might well be one of the Spanish festivals most covered by the national media. Actually, these were declared a “Festival of National Interest” in Spain back in 1993.
Last 20th June, people started to set up the pseudo bullring at the port of Dénia, to celebrate this deeply rooted fiesta.
