Bous a La Mar Fiesta
Festivals go on in Jávea, where the celebrations in the port in honor of Our Lady of Loreto will enliven the end of summer in town. Check below the activities schedule in Jávea until 8 September:
TUESDAY 4 SEPTEMBER
12.00 h and 19.00 Bous a la Mar (bulls at the sea) and at 23:30 h. Bous al Carrer in the area of the port with embolado bull (bull set in fire)
WEDNESDAY 5 SEPTEMBER
12.00 h. and 19:00 h. bulls at the sea and Closing ceremony
00:00 h. Street discotheque show at the promenade until 04.00 h.
THURSDAY 6 SEPTEMBER: “SENIOR CITIZENS DAY”
10:30 h.: BriscaCards Contest for over players over 50 years old
12:30 h.: Snack and toast for senior citizens invited by Bufa Club
18:00 h.: Bufa Club will also bring the traditional “putxerot” to the eldery home
19:00 h.: Flower offering to Our Lady of Loreto.
22:00 h.: Farce organized by La Bufa Club and sponsored by the Festivals Council.
23:30 h.: Serenade night by the Tuna Band of Javea, then street discotheque and karaoke at Severo Ochoa Street until 04:00 h.
SATURDAY 8 SEPTEMBER: “DAY OF THE VIRGIN OF LORETO”
08: 00 h.: Firecrackers wake up in the streets of Aduanas
12.00 h. Solemn Celebration of the Eucharist in honor of Our Lady of Loreto and then, a firecracker show at Via Augusta.
20:00 h.: Solemn procession of Our Lady of Loreto.
23:30 h.: Ball with SUPER MAGIC orchestra at the promenade.
01:00 h.: Seafront fireworks show
SUNDAY 9 SEPTEMBER
Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Loreto to the Popul Shrine; holy mass and free sweets and chocolates for everyone after the ceremony.
