Tourist info Benitachell
The coordinator of Tourist Info Network of Alicante has recently approved the change of the location of Benitachell tourist office to a new spot more convenient for the tourist access.
The City Benitachell has received the approval of the Valencian Agency of Tourism in order locate the Tourist info in a new facility at Market Square, next to the municipal market and a few meters from City Hall and a parking area. (more…)

Moraig Cove
The Town of Benitachell has recently improved the access to Moraig Cove. The acces to the local beach was affected by a storm in November, but the recent maintenance works guarantee a smooth access to visitors arriving in peak season.
Last autumn storm swept rocks along the road and broke an important part of the car access area.

Sahara photo exhibition
“Sahara desert of hope” is the title of the photographic exhibition that offers an overview of the actual situation of the Saharawi people. The Department of Social Services opened the exhibition last 26 March at Benitachell library (11, Alicante Avenue).
The aim of the exhibition is to create awareness about the problems of the Saharawi people, its history and international policy positions that together, affect the life and rights of thousands of refugees.

Pilota Valenciana
Today, the Poble Nou de Benitachell Town Hall has informed us about the return of the Benitachell Valencian Pilota Club to the competition in the provincial Valencian pilota league, in the hand palm category.
The Poble Nou Valencian Pilota Club is now again a reality. After approx. 10 years out of the field, the club has returned. It started as a team in the pilota provincial league organized by the Alicante Council and the Valencian Pilota Federation, since 20 years ago. (more…)
