Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort is situated in a true paradise. This is thanks to not only the design and quality of our luxury villas and apartments, but also to its dream landscapes: the incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea and the natural environment which surrounds it.

For those who love nature, this is the perfect place to live. The area is located within easy distance of a number of beaches and coves, protected spaces, and hiking routes. In addition, the area is constantly evolving and there are now different plans to connect all its protected spaces. Among these plans is the new 9km path which will connect El Poble Nou de Benitatxell with Cala Moraig and Cala Llebeig, which both residents and visitors to the area will soon be able to enjoy.

The most interesting thing about this new path is the advantage it offers for those who live in the area, given that it will join the historical centre of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell with the spectacular cliffs in the coastal area of Puig de la Llorença. In addition, this path has been designed to begin at the town’s square, in front of the Santa María Magdalena church.

For the construction of this new path, which will feature new technology and signage systems, the Valencia Tourism Agency has approved a €39,987 subsidy. The site in which the path will be built is in a riverbed with several rocky areas and vegetation consisting mainly of shrubbery. The path will ascend through the ancient path of the “Serp”, recently recovered in 2018, will reach the peak of the Puig de la Llorença, and will descend to Cala Llebeig. In addition, the path will have a route which leads to the international Lady Elizabeth School in Cumbre del Sol. Those who love hiking, for whom this 9km route may feel a little short, will be able to continue on to Cala Moraig.

The path is expected to be finished and completely ready for use at the end of the year. So, if you live in Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort and love nature, keep an eye on our blog and social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) to stay up to date with this as well as other news in the area.
