Cumbre del Sol is ready to receive the Vuelta Ciclista España (Spanish Cycling Tour)on Sunday 27 August. As you all know, the ninth stage of the Vuelta runs through the province of Alicante, departing from Orihuela at 12:00h. and finishing at Cumbre del Sol – Puig de la Llorença (Poble Nou de Benitatxell) at 17:00h.; a unique opportunity to see the best cyclists on the international scene in action.

Also in Poble Nou de Benitatxell- Cumbre del Sol we are fortunate enough to enjoy the most important race of the national panorama in two occasions, since on the stage will run through two different places in town: a first one on the way from Teulada and Gata de Gorgos, and a second uphill to Puig de la Llorença summit.

For this reason, traffic will be detoured after 13:30 h. and until the end of the event, so it is important for the neighbors to know that they will not be able to leave or access the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol during the race time.

From Monday 21 August you can pick up the map and info leaflet at the information and sales offices of Grupo VAPF in Cumbre del Sol, so you can know everything about, public parking areas, access and also get a gift from Grupo VAPF specially prepared to celebrate this event.

If you can not stop by the office, on the Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol website you can get a map of the route, and info about parking areas enabled for this day, public toilets, emergency/distress points and much more.
