Fishing competitions to be held in October on the Costa Blanca
During the month of October various fishing competitions are held along the Costa Blanca organized by the different yacht clubs of each town.
Moraira Yacht Club has organized the 28th Edition of the trolling fishing trophy on the 10th of October, a sports fishing trophy, the oldest of all those held in this club. Once again it will be sponsored by the Repsol firm and Barclays Bank. The victory of the previous edition went to LA BLONDY boat skippered by José Maria Carbonell. Following the competition we will inform you of this year’s winners.

The Moraira Yacht Club holds the start of the 15th Edition of the High Seas boat race to Ibiza
The 15th Edition of the High Seas Boat Race Moraira- Sta. Eulalia “AXA” Trophy will be held from the 15th of September 2010 to the 19th of September 2010, organized by the Moraira Yacht Club and the Santa Eulalia Yacht Club.
Open to all cruise class boats, with a minimum of nine meters in length, provided with the Rating R.I Certificate, valid for the current year 2010.
The inscriptions can be made at the Moraira Yacht Club, Apartado 14, 03724 Moraira (Teulada), Alicante or by e-mail to direccion@cnmoraira.com, the inscription period is until mid-night on Sunday 12th of September 2010.

Deep sea fishing trophy in Moraira
On the 26th and 27th of June, the 4th Deep Sea Fishing Trophy of the Valencian Autonomous Region will be held at the Moraira Yacht Club (Club Náutico de Moraira), sponsored by Bancaja, Repsol and Pepe La Sal Supermarkets, and on this occasion it will coincide with the Moraira Yacht Club Fishing Trophy.
Last year’s winner was the boat La Bona Mar skippered by Mr. Victor Manuel Oller and the biggest catch was retrieved by Mr. Adrian Bataller, skipper of the Salacia.
