In addition, the staff at Cumbre del Sol Pharmacy can guide and advise you on how to stay fit and healthy. And if you feel like pampering yourself a little with one of those special treats that we all deserve from time to time, the Pure Wellness centre has just what you need, in the form of massages, manicure, laser depilation and a whole range of beauty care treatments.
Sports facilities
The tennis and the padel courts in particular ,at Cumbre del Sol have become a benchmark not only in the development, but also in the whole Marina Alta area. Tournaments are held regularly on the courts which are set in a part of the development that enjoys fabulous sea views. Just a few metres from the courts, you will find Cañada del Sol Riding School, which all year round offers all kinds of horse riding outings and treks, riding classes, and a children’s farm. …
The Pure Wellness Centre also organises exercises classes with a personal trainer to get fit either individually or in classes, with groups for every age.

As we’re in the Mediterranean, excellent cuisine is a must. Something as essential as stopping by Restaurante La Cumbre, which serves fresh produce in a pleasant atmosphere with views of the sea. Other extremely interesting options in the development are the Dreamsea Mediterranean restaurant, along with Como en Casa and Kiosko del Sol, which has opened this year and is located at the north entrance, where you can savour signature dishes, a huge range of sweets and desserts, cakes, buns and tarts.
When you’ve finished your training session or your beauty treatment at the Pure Wellness centre, you can enjoy an organic juice or shake, and a selection of hot meals, salads and sandwiches. There are also vegan options which make it an alternative attraction.
And when you feel like surprising your family, friends or guests by taking over the cooking, the Pepe La Sal supermarket is your friend. There you will find the finest selection of meat and fresh fish in the Marina Alta and Baixa, with its premium delicatessen and an extensive selection of wines with products from all over the world.
Lady Elizabeth School
The prestigious Lady Elizabeth School is located in Cumbre del Sol. This private school offers an excellent education for children from the age of 15 months up to 18 years. Lady Elizabeth School is as international as the residential development itself and teaches pupils from 20 different nationalities. The school follows the British educational model and prepares students for international IGCSE, GCSEs, GCE A / AS examinations, as well as the Spanish ESO and Bachillerato.

If you are one of the lucky residents of Cumbre del Sol, you are bound to have heard of Benitachell, the municipality where our exclusive development is located. However, if you would like to discover all its services and learn more about its history and there’s a lot more to that than you might think, keep reading and we’ll give you all the details.
Firstly, we look back at the history of the municipality which has a fascinating past given the different cultures of those who inhabited its villages and farmsteads. Islamic culture is one example, having given the place its name, as well as naming other districts such as Moraig, the beach at the foot of our mountain that is one of the most treasured spots in the Mediterranean. Although if we’re talking place names, did you know that the official name is El Poble Nou de Benitatxell? That’s because it was the last village to be repopulated by Christians in this part of La Marina.
Dicover the charms of Benitachell
Now that you know a little more about this lovely little town, how about taking wander with us around its historic centre? We start at the Jaime Llobell oratory or chapel of prayer. Entrance to the hermitage leads into an interior patio where you can admire the simple baroque style with its neoclassical touches. A weekly mass is held in the hermitage on Saturday evenings. Back in the open again, just 5 minutes away, after crossing the calle de la Pau and calle Mayor, you come to the Town Hall, with its rough-hewn stone façade, a material that is used widely in the area. Continue on to the church square, where you will come to the town’s most prized monument located at its highest point, namely the church of Saint Mary Magdalen. Don’t be put off by its rather austere exterior, inside it is richly decorated mainly in white and gold. And finally, you have to visit El Portalet, the gateway leading to the back of the church square and behind it you will find the lookout point or mirador with views of Montgó natural park, Cabo de Sant Antioni and the bay of Jávea. Don’t forget to round off your walk with a good meal, and on the Town Hall web site you’ll find all the restaurants in the area, why not try one?
A village with every service and plenty of things to do
Benitachell has all the services that you need within reach, such as schools, post office. Police station, pharmacy, health centre etc. Not only that, but the municipality is committed to the environment and has a green point for Cumbre del Sol residents, located right beside the shopping centre, which encourages recycling, and so that residents can dispose of their waste easily including gardening waste.
However, leisure and entertainment also play a part in this story. Would you like to practise your steps or learn to play an instrument? Sign up to the Municipal School of Music and Dance, although if you are more of a reading type, you can lose yourself among books and stories in the Municipal Library. Not only that, but the Town Hall is always planning new activities and it just so happens that we are right in the middle of the Mitjafava Fest, with a series of events which will be continuing until 23 April, such as the longest broad bean and the bean with most gallons. From the basic essentials to more specific services, you will find them all very close to your home in Cumbre del Sol. In this blog post we’ll tell you about all the things you can find in the streets there.

Health is always paramount. And in the Cumbre del Sol pharmacy, in the Adelfas area, they will always provide you with guidance and advice to keep you healthy, as well as dispensing any medicines that you may need.

And for a little pampering and a relaxing time, you can find just what you need in the Pure Wellness centres which are ideal for a relaxing massage as well as offering services that include manicure, microblading and laser depilation, and also a V.I.P. hairdressing salon.
Sport and education
At Lady Elizabeth School, future generations of Cumbre del Sol residents receive the best education available at one of the finest international schools in Spain. It provides a comprehensive education from infant classes to university entrance, covering the compulsory education syllabus from start to finish.
There are a host of outdoor sports activities to make the most of the excellent climate all year round, including the North Costa Blanca Padel Club and the Cumbre del Sol Horseback Riding Centre, not to mention the tennis and paddle courts that are part of the residential development. However, for enjoying the outdoors there is nothing like one of the hiking trails nearby (the Clifftops route, the Falla del Moraig route or La Granadella Natural Park adjacent to the Development) or going down to the sea for some snorkelling in one of the nearby beaches such as Cala Tiestos or Cala Moraig).
Plenty of Leisure, entertainment and fine dining
Gastronomy in Costa Blanca Norte is exemplified in two renowned local restaurants namely, Como en Casa (close to the paddle and tennis courts) and Restaurante La Cumbre. Both establishments welcome visitors and residents alike. However, if you like to have guests round and cook for them at home, you can find everything you need at Supermercado Pepe La Sal.
Although living in Cumbre del Sol is an experience in itself, we recommend a visit to Dreamsea Mediterranean. A luxury glamping centre in «Cala Moraig». A delightful place for those who want to spend some time making some new friends in a welcoming atmosphere and in close contact with nature.
Living in a residential complex with sandy beaches and countryside all round, does not necessarily mean difficult communications. The company Ibérica de Redes, which also has an office in Cumbre del Sol, makes sure that your internet connection works with the speed of light, thanks to their optic fibre service.

When it comes to training, there’s different exercises you can do. One of the newest ones is bungee. You’re probably asking yourself what it is. Coming from Thailand, bungee is a new technique based on suspension exercises where your hands and feet are held with anchors. It’s a cardiovascular exercise that’s highly intense, but without direct impact on your joints. If you want something a bit more challenging, you can try crossfit.
But if you prefer something a bit more relaxing, yoga is the way to go. Vinyasa yoga or Ying & Yang yoga – you decide. Don’t worry if you don’t have a lor of experience, there are classes for all levels. Yoga is fantastic for keeping balance in body and mind. You ready to try it?

The list of services on offer at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol keeps on growing. We’ve already told you about the shopping centre Adelfas, the international school The Lady Elizabeth School, the restaurants and sports areas. But now, get ready for a new essential service – a new health centre with a wide range of health care.
In the Adelfas area, the clinic Medical Centre Oxygen Heart is led by Dr. Tomasz Dobrucki, doctorate in health sciences and cardiology with extensive professional experience. Along with him is Mariola Kulik, who’s in charge of oxygen therapy. The opening of this new centre will lessen the number of visits to other clinics now that residents can be treated within the area.
What’s on offer? Take a look.
In terms of therapeutic activity:
- Cardiological consultations, general medicine, sports medicine.
- Treatment for cardiological diseases, arrhythmias, arterial hypertension, post covid complications.
- Hyperbaric chamber support for the treatment of many diseases.
Increasing patient’s physical capacity, especially for athletes in the hyperbaric chamber.
And in diagnostic activity:
- Electrocardiogram, HOLTER ABPM (blood pressure monitoring), HOLTER ECG with Schiller programme to diagnose arrhythmias, HOLTER saturation to diagnose sleep apnoea.
You’re probably asking what a hyperbaric chamber is. It’s one of the clinic’s strong points. Its aim is to bring oxygen to our tissues, whether they be central or peripheral. Circulation is improved massively, and it helps treat different ailments due to oxygenation. Oxygen aids the recovery of damaged tissues, resulting in a significant improvement in oedema, inflammation, and healing of all types of injuries. It also prevents and treats infections and complements neurological rehabilitation.
The hyperbaric chamber is especially recommended for treating chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, in which cases it reduces medication and improves quality of life. As mentioned beforehand, it also significantly improves an athlete’s physical abilities and overall performance.
