Poble Nou de Benitachell officially launched “Moraig”, the first white wine of BioMoscaltell project. This wine is the first of a new line of traditional crop products projected.

Christmas Workshops for Children in Benitachell
The International Association of Residents of Benitachell (AVIB) is helping to entertain and educate the children with a € 1,500 donation aimed to the offering of Christmas Workshops. These workshops are organized by Social Services department especially for children from 3 to 12 years old during the school holidays. AVIB President Willi Lutz, Secretary Urs Rufer and Treasurer Erika Jenny, expressed their satisfaction for contributing to the leisure activity for children of the village. (more…)
EU Citizens’ Registration
Benitachell Town informs about the deadline for registration of EU citizens in local census through a press release recently issued. That press release states that EU citizens must renew their census registration at City Hall before 15 December 2013; otherwise the INE (Spanish National Statistics Institute) will consider that the citizen is no longer living in the previously registered address. Christmas market
The 2013 Benitachell’s Christmas Market and Fair will be held on Sunday 15 December in the Main and Jose Antonio streets from 10:00 to 14:00 h.
The Department of Economic Development of Benitachell reported that the registration period will be open from 18 November until 11 December.
All interested (associations, traders and individuals) must apply for a boot place at the City Hall of Benitachell. (more…)
