The Costa Blanca is a region full of surprises and new places to discover. if you’ve chosen to live at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, you’ll be able to benefit from its many perks. You’ll have all the necessary conveniences available in your day-to-day life close to your home (supermarket, international school, pharmacy, etc.), as well as various sports facilities and beautiful surroundings that invite you to explore nature’s playground. The coast between Moraira and Dénia is filled with parks and natural reserves with magnificent coves of crystalline waters and whose cliffs offer breathtaking views. That’s why we suggest an itinerary to Jávea’s various viewpoints; so get in the car and follow us!
Start out going north, towards Jávea, specifically to the Cap de Sant Antoni lighthouse, which provides views of the the town of Jávea like you’ve never seen before. Continue along the route, stop at the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de los Angeles and walk along the dirt track. There you will find some mills that date back to over 300 years and from where you can admire unparalleled views of the valley and the Cap Prim of Jávea.
Continue on foot along the coast until you reach Arenal beach. This beach is famous for its fine sand and the many shops along its promenade as well as the Séquia de la Nòria, a canal that dates back to Roman times that allowed seawater to enter an inland area where the salt mines were located. Then, go to Cala Blanca to admire the cliffs, follow the road that borders the sea and crosses the natural tunnels to reach the other coves.
Then head towards the Cruz de Portitxol to enjoy the impressive views; you can also take a couple roads that lead to, for example, Cala Sardinera or Cap Prim. Once you’ve finished this part of the trip, plan to go towards La Falzia as well, where you can marvel at the views of Cap de Sant Antoni, Cap Prim and the pine forest. Finally, drop by Cap Negre, where you can get one final glimpse of this entire section of the coast.
Follow the route south to discover the other side of Cap de la Nao. We recommend that you leave your vehicle near the lighthouse and make the trip to get a panoramic view. This is the closest point to the island of Ibiza and, if the weather is good, you’ll be able to see it. Take advantage of the stop to have a snack and refreshment or to order take away at one of the restaurants. If you want to experience the cape’s elevation, the lighthouse and Ambolo island, go towards Les Pesqueres, a viewpoint that’s about 500 metres away.
Back in the car, we recommend a stop at two of the most beautiful coves in the area. The first one is Cala Ambroso, which you can only admire from above because, unfortunately, its access is closed due to the risk of landslides. The next is Cala Granadella. Take advantage and admire the beauty of this nature reserve from your vehicle by taking the road that leads to the beach, then make your way on foot to finally reach it or to the path that leads to Castell de Granadella. This way, you will already be a few kilometres away from Cumbre del Sol because the Granadella natural park extends to the entrance of the residential complex.

Do you have plans for the weekend? If you decide to stay home, you can spend a couple of very pleasant days at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol, disconnecting from everything in a natural setting with your loved ones and views of the Mediterranean Sea. You can take a dip in the pool or prepare dinner on the terrace or maybe you prefer to enjoy all the services our residential area offers: get ready for a tennis lesson, go for a horse ride or spend an afternoon of shopping at the Las Adelfas Shopping Centre. However, if you have an adventurous spirit and feel like squeezing the most out of the Costa Blanca, read on. Below we recommend the best plans to get the most out of your free time during the autumn season.
If you are passionate about cinema, without a doubt, one of the best plans is just a half hour drive from home: the Autocine Drive-In. The year-round warm temperatures of the Costa Blanca will allow you to enjoy the latest releases; all you need are a couple of chairs! Order dinner and get immersed in history. Drive-In also offers a wide variety of English version films for those who prefer that.
We also have the best plan for nature lovers: Las Fuentes del Algar, less than 1 hour from home. It is a set of waterfalls connected by small water channels and rivers where you can spend the day and go swimming, if you’re brave enough to handle the low water temperatures! Don’t forget your camera to photograph this beautiful setting; you’ll be the envy of all your followers on social media! And, if you prefer saltwater to freshwater, you can also enjoy a splendid boat ride, whether you are a titleholder or not: enjoy being out in the sea, go snorkeling or access hidden coves with magical charm. There are many companies dedicated to managing this type of activity, such as Infinity Sea and Click & Boat.
And, lastly, we have an exciting plan for the most daring. How about a quad ride in Denia? Say goodbye to monotony and discover incredible landscapes on the back of a four-wheeler; you can choose between two different routes: one to the Cape San Antonio or to the ‘Cave of Skulls’ in Benidoleig, which includes entrance and a refreshment. This is a new way of doing tourism while contemplating Denia’s natural landscapes that will captivate you.

Last week we had one of the best weeks of the summer at Residential Resort Cumbre del Sol – with great weather, lots of sunshine and plenty of opportunities to make the most of the gorgeous natural surroundings. However, there’s something that made last week particularly exciting… The padel tournament we held in our courts!
This event was organised by the North Costa Blanca Padel Club and sponsored and hosted by VAPF. The tournament ran from the 6th of August to the 9th and it consisted of various daily matches. Everyone who participated was paired up and split between different categories of varying difficulties. Each match was more exciting than the last; it was a pleasure to watch people with a range of abilities try their best and truly enjoy playing sports in our facilities.
Every day, the matches began at 16:00 and lasted until late the evening. The players and audience got to enjoy the best of the Costa Blanca’s weather while simultaneously enjoying the game. Beautiful sunny skies melted away into a breathtaking sunset, which then gave way to the refreshing sparkling night sky.
Everyone involved showed stupendous sportsmanship. Even as the tournament became more and more competitive, the element of friendliness and community remained. It is a joy to see a wide variety of residents come together and enjoy Cumbre del Sol and all it has to offer. Regardless of who won or lost, everyone seemed more than satisfied to have gotten a chance to participate and give their all.
At VAPF, we are proud to host events such as this one which helps establish Cumbre del Sol as one of the benchmark residential developments on the Costa Blanca. As you can see, Cumbre del Sol is an idyllic place to live for much more than its unmatchable location. One of the best things about living at Cumbre del Sol is the endless activities you can take part in nearby. From hiking to horse riding, our idyllic surroundings and thought-out facilities are perfect for all kinds of hobbies. With picture-perfect weather almost every day of the year, Cumbre del Sol is ideal for anyone who likes to spend their days outdoors and lead an active, healthy lifestyle.
As you already know, our sports facilities are a fantastic option for all sports lovers. We kicked off the summer by hosting the Region of Valencia Tennis Challenge in our tennis courts. The event was the first of its kind, as it was the first professional sporting event to be held in Spain during the COVID-19 crisis. At VAPF, we are happy to announce we are once again hosting a sporting event in our facilities! The North Costa Blanca Padel Club is organizing a padel tournament, sponsored by VAPF.
The tournament is set to start on the 6th of August and continue until the 9th. Each game will start at 4pm and carry on until late in the day. This will allow players to enjoy Cumbre del Sol’s lovely evening weather and have a picturesque Costa Blanca sunset as the backdrop throughout the entire tournament. There will be a minimum of three matches per day and the tournament is being divided into three categories of varying difficulties. The categories are coed, so if you register without a partner, you’ll have no problem getting one assigned to you.
Registration is open until August 2nd, so be quick and register now! It’s an ideal way to make the most of your summer while making some unforgettable memories.
