Tapas tasting in Jávea
The 5th Edition of “Tapeo” Tapas tasting in Jávea will take place in the historic old town of Jávea in the Plaça de la Constitució (market square) on the weekend of 1 and 2 October.
The idea of making a Tapas route was undertaken by the Association of Merchants and Businessmen of Xàbia Historic Center with the sponsorship of the Economy Council and Jávea Town for the fifth consecutive year of good work, superb dishes and the nicest service.
It is estimated that 12,000 people from all nationalities who lives in the region, enjoyed the “Tapeo” weekend last year amidst a great atmosphere, performances and of course the local cuisine.

Teulada Auditorium in Teulada-Moraira
A couple of weeks ago we published the coming months’ schedule for events at the Teulada-Moraira auditorium. These events used to be performed only in big cities, but they are now available for all residents and visitors of the Costa Blanca North.
Check below the schedule of the upcoming events in the framework of the second season of events of Teulada-Moraira Auditorium:
18 September: “Querida Matilde” (Dear Mathilde). Theater play featuring Lola Herrera, Ana Labordeta and Daniel Freire.

Below you can find the program of the upcoming nautical events events, regattas and fishing trophies, scheduled and organized by the Club Nautico de Moraira (Moraira Yacht Club) in September and October 2011:
XVI Moraira-Santa Eulalia (Ibiza)-Moraira Regatta
This is a regatta organized by both Moraira and Santa Eulalia Yacht Clubs with the permission of the Sailing Federation of the Comunitat Valenciana. This event will be held from 7 to 14 September.

Javea Race for Life
Next Sunday 25 September at 11:00 h, the Arenal beach will host the Jávea’s Race for Life, a charity race event organized by the Association Against Cancer and sponsored by the Sports Council of Jávea in aim of raising funds for supporting cancer charities as MABS, EOS, ASPANION and AECC.
The 5 Km race will start at 11:00 h at the L’Ancora Playa Bar located by Paris Ave. in Jávea. The activities will begin at 10:30 h with a “fun warm up session” with the participation of all racers and organizers.
Registration forms and sponsorship are available at L’Ancora Playa Bar and in the race’s official website.

Alternative Fair Benissa
Today we bring you the schedule of the workshops and lectures that will take place at the VIII Alternative Fair of Benissa next 24 and 25 September. The vast majority of events will take place on the fairgrounds enabled by the Dolores Piera roundabout.
Saturday 24 September:
11:00 h: Children’s Pottery Workshop, Recycling Workshop and Kundalini Yoga activities at the SATYA Center
12:00: Baby Massage Workshop, exhibition of cutting bunches of grapes and belly dance workshop, at the Cultural Center

Jávea Swim Crossing
The Club Náutico Xàbia -Jávea’s Yacht Club, the Jávea Sports Council and the Town Hall of Javea are organizing the II Xàbia Swim Crossing for next Sunday September 11. This sports event will comprise two competitions of 400 and 4500 meters, as follows:
Circuit A, 400 meters: Test delimited with start and finish signal beacons at La Grava beach by the Port of Jávea. This event will start at 10:30 or just after the arrival of the last competitor 4,500 meters test, whatever happens first. Collection of competitor’s material will start at 09:00 h until 15 minutes before the starting gun for this test.
