VAPF has organised various events to make sure this a unique and unforgettable summer at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. We want to do our part to assure that our neighbours have their best summer yet. If you’re reading this, you’re invited to participate in all of the events we’ll be discussing below, as they’ve been created for your enjoyment and fun! Let’s go!
If you are interested in finding out more about our properties at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, we’ll make it easy for you! All you have to do is come out and visit us for our Open House at villa 29 Lirios, during the afternoons from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. We will be here until August 31st! And if you prefer to visit us at a different time, we can assist you in the South Office from 9:00 to 2:00 pm and in the North Office from 9:00 to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Feel free to stop by at the time that best suits you, there are no excuses not to come see us!
On the other hand, for all those who want to find out about VAPF developments and new homes beyond Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, we have a special plan for you! Every Thursday in July and August, (with the exception of August 15th, as it is a public holiday) we welcome you to our VAPF Store in Moraira from 6:30 to 8:00 pm for our Cava Afternoons event. Let our professionals show you our luxury villas and apartments while you enjoy a glass of cava.
In addition, one of the big events that will take place during this month is the traditional Belgian National Day celebration on July 21st. Every year, we celebrate this event as it commemorates the day that Belgium became an independent state. We’ll celebrate with our neighbours from Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, as there is a large community of Belgians living in the area. The party will take place in La Cumbre restaurant and it will be an enchanting evening accompanied by a special menu, live music and a great time.
Our Classic Car Rally will also take place on August 24th. This event brings together classic cars lovers in the area. If you are one of them, you can’t miss it! This is one of the most important events of the summer at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort and is celebrating its third edition this year.
As you probably already know, this year the Vuelta a España returns to our neighbourhood! Specifically, it will be passing through on August 25th. Cyclists are drawn to this little piece of the Costa Blanca for its incredible views and also for a route that runs through el Puig Llorença.
Our most sporty residents also have a date with us in their calendar! During the summer we will have up to two paddle tennis tournaments: the first will take place from July 30th to August 1st and the second from August 20th to the 22nd. If you’re interested in participating, check our social networks and we’ll have more information out soon!
If you want to enter into a peaceful state of mind this summer, we invite you to our yoga sessions in two different locations nearby: Every Tuesday at 7:00 pm, from July 16th to August 27th, there will be a yoga session in the magical location of Cala Moraig. The early risers will be able to participate at 9:00 am at Mirador dels Testos in Benitachell from July 18th to August 22nd, with the exception of August 15th, which is a public holiday.
As a resident and neighbour, you are invited to all the events that take place at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. It gives us great satisfaction to unite people of different nationalities and be an active participant in this community, because our little piece of paradise on the Costa Blanca is what it is thanks to all those residents and neighbours who form a part of it!

The residents at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort are in luck because….fibre optics has arrived to the area! The telecommunications company, IBÉRICA DE REDES, has decided to invest in the installation of a fibre optics network at Cumbre del Sol, so as to offer high speed internet service to homeowners in the urbanisation. They have already begun installation in some homes and the first owners will very soon be able to enjoy their new service!
To celebrate, the company has organized a Fibre Optics Welcome Party on Saturday, July 6th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, an event in which all Cumbre del Sol residents are invited to attend. The event will take place in the IRIS area (at the North Entrance, next to Lady Elizabeth School and the Civil Protection and Voluntary Firefighter facilities.) A good time will be had by all! There will be music and free beer for all those who attend, so don’t miss it!

In order to make sure you are up-to-date about all our news and happenings, and as done in previous years, we are happy to bring you the fourth edition of the Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort magazine. This way you won’t miss a thing!
We are pleased to collaborate with Unicef on this new edition of our magazine. VAPF Group is very aware of the crisis happening in Syria and for this reason, we wanted to contribute to the NGO with hopes that children of this region can have a better life and be protected from any type of abuse or violence.
In this edition, we tell you all about our new apartment development, Montecala Gardens, located at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. These modern and designer homes have different models that you can choose from and have lovely commons areas, allowing you to take advantage of the wonderful Mediterranean weather and life outdoors.
Furthermore, we are celebrating, because our Block C Blue Infinity luxury apartments are for sale as of May. Block C has 24 new apartments that stand out for their ample living space, with a surface area of over 240 m² and terraces that measure from 40 m² and up. They are also notable for their stunning ocean views and the commons areas complete with pools, gym, and wellness areas.

As far as the events we have planned, this summer will be packed with all kinds of great activities. In June we celebrated our first annual VAPF Tennis Tournament in which we inaugurated two new clay courts, expanding the Cumbre del Sol sports facilities. This month we will also be celebrating the second annual tradition of Saint John’s Eve, with a dinner and live music. Later, we will be having the first Cumbre del Sol Photography Marathon, a great change for photographers to discover new parts of Cumbre del Sol such as the Cova dels Arcs and the Falla del Moraig route. Furthermore, this year we will once again celebrate Belgian National Day on June 21st and lastly, sports will play a major role this summer at Cumbre del Sol with our VAPF Paddle Tournament, the third Marina Alta Classic Car Rally, and finally the second stage of the Vuelta Ciclista a España, Tour of Spain, that will pass through Cumbre del Sol once again on the 25th of August.

If you are a tennis lover, we have good news! The weekend of the 1st and 2nd of June we are inaugurating two new clay tennis courts on a special day that you don’t want to miss! We will be offering complementary wine to all attendees as we celebrate the 1st VAPF Tennis Tournament together.

If you live at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, we know besides enjoying the luxury and design of our homes, you also value living oceanfront, surrounded by nature and incredible views. This means that on May 21st, you have a date with us! Mark it in red on your calendar because you are invited to the 2nd Annual Day of the Tree at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort!
During the event, we will plant around 150 trees with the collaboration of professors, 1st year students of the Lady Elizabeth International School, between 5 and 6 years old, VAPF workers, and all the residents who want to accompany us on this special day. We not only want to do our part in protecting the environment, we also want to help foster a connection between the neighbours, students, and workers at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort with the nature that surrounds us. This is an important part in addition to reinforcing the message of respect for the world around us. We thought that the best way to do this would be through a gesture as simple but as effective as tree planting.
Last year, the 1st edition of the Day of the Tree took place, in which we also collaborated with Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort residents and the students of Lady Elizabeth School in planting 100 trees. This year we wanted to repeat the experience, as we think that these types of events are very important, considering that Cumbre del Sol is located in a unique natural enclave; a paradise along the Mediterranean ocean that we must work to preserve.

Even though summer hasn´t official started yet, we are already celebrating at Cumbre del Sol! We have various events planned with the idea of fostering a sense of community that so well characterises Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort. Residents will have the chance to come together and participate in many activities. Make a note in your calendar so that you don’t miss any of them!
The first event will be the 2nd Annual Arbour Day at Cumbre del Sol Residential Resort, taking place on May 21st. It is such a privilege to live surrounded by nature. Therefore, at VAPF, we want to do our part by planting 100 trees at Cumbre del Sol. This will be an event in which both students of the Lady Elizabeth School and Cumbre del Sol neighbours will have the opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the importance of respecting and protecting the environment. Do not miss this opportunity! To participate, all you have to do is confirm your attendance by sending an e-mail with your information to cumbredelsol@vapf.com.
The first edition of the Colosos del Mediterráneo 2019 event will take place at the Moraira Yacht Club, from May 28 to June 1st. We will be also be sponsoring this event. It’s not to be missed if you are a lover of recreational fishing! It will follow a catch and release model, bringing together the best international fishermen and the largest fish of the Mediterranean.
Tennis lovers also have a date in their agenda. The first VAPF Tennis Tournament will take place the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of June, in which we will officially inaugurate the two new clay tennis courts at Cumbre del Sol.
At the end of June, the first Cumbre del Sol Photography Contest will take place, ideal for those whose hobby is photography and who want to capture the beauty of the area. Those interested should send an e-mail to cumbredelsol@vapf.com to sign up and request more detailed information.
We celebrate the magical Noche de San Juan, on June 23rd, an event where we officially welcome summer with lively music and the best atmosphere around.
