L'Ampolla beach in Moraira
If you plan to be in Cumbre del Sol in the weekend from 9th to 10th April, we have a good proposal to spend your free time. Only 4 km from the estate, in Moraira, the Fiesta del Mar party will be held during the weekend, at Playa de L’Ampolla beach, next to the castle.
Fiesta del Mar in Moraira is a sea-themed party, with activities such as kayaking, standup paddle —SUP, sailing, beginner’s lessons, competitions, contests, exhibitions, etc.
This is the schedule of activities at Fiesta del Mar in Moraira:
Saturday, 9th April:
10:00 h: Opening of the Fiesta del Mar celebration and maiden dives in a school ship.
10:30 h to 12:00 h: Stand Up Paddle Surf (SUP), Family Kayak beginners lessons and fishing kayak.
12:30 h to 13:30 h: SUP competition sponsored by O’Neill wetsuits. The price will be a wetsuit.
13:30 h to 14:30 h: Kayak competition sponsored by ROCROI. Possibility to win a paddle set or a dry pack.
15:30 h to 17:00 h: Kayak and SUP crossing.
17:30 h: Prizes handout.
18:30 h: Meal for the participants.
Sunday, 10th April:
“Maiden dives” crossing on the school ship.
10:00 h to 11:30 h: Kayak and SUP crossing.
11:30 h to 12:30 h: SUP competition sponsored by O’Neill wetsuits. The price will be a wetsuit.
