Besides the regular exhibitions and activities taking place in the City of the Arts and Sciences, Valencia, a new exhibition and a new screening add up to the schedule. The novelties have been introduced in the calendar of events of the Hemisfèric and the Oceanográfic.
The Hemisfèric renews its schedule with a new documentary: “Hubble: Exploring the universe”. This IMAX screening is a fantastic insight into a maintenance mission to the Hubble Space Telescope, suspended and orbiting Earth.
The Oceanogràfic has something new to offer as well: a beautiful art exhibition with sculptures that make us think about the pollution on our oceans. “Skeleton Sea” is a showcase with 12 works made of garbage collected on beaches and oceans across the world.
From whales to oversized fish skeletons, there are many original pieces of art awaiting you until March 2011, in the “Edificio de Acceso” –entrance building- of the Oceanogràfic.
