Christmas events by Xabia Historica
eve The shopkeepers association Xabia Historica has planned a series of activities to cheer up the city atmosphere during the Christmas season:
Thursday 23th December:
17:45 h: Polar Express, movie for kids. In Casa de Cultura. Free admission.
20:00 h: Santa Claus parade with Christmas Carols. The starting point will be Mercat Municipal. It will finish in Plaza de la Iglesia.
Sunday 26h December:
12:00 h: Popular Christmas race, in fancy dresses. There will be prizes for the best runners, the most original fancy dresses and more surprises.
19:30 h: Orpheon dedicated to Mare de Deu de Loreto, in the church of the same name. Free music event.
Monday, 27th December:
17:45 h: Scrooge: A Christmas Carol movie. In Casa de Cultura. Free admission.
Sunday, 2nd January:
12:30 h: Contes Contats, a magic, marionettes and dance show by Lucky the clown, In Jaume I avenue. When the show is finished, the helpers of the Three Wise Men will come to collect letters from the kids.
Monday, 3rd January:
17:30 h: Mini Disco with choreographies for kids. After the disco, the towncriers -pregoneros- will announce the arrival of the Three Wise Men and their helpers will come back to collect letters from the kids who could not give them the day before.
Tuesday, 4th January:
17:45 h: The Goonies movie. In Casa de Cultura. Free admission.
Wednesday, 5th January:
17:00 h: Disembarkment of the Three Wise Men from the Port of Xabia. Then, the procession will start.
17:45 h: Handout of gifts from the Three Wise Men to kids in Jaume I avenue, in Aduanas.
19:00 h: Procession of the Three Wise men from Juan Carlos I street to Placeta del Convent.
