Civil Defence and Volunteeer Firefighters will share facilities in Benitachell
On Wednesday, November 24th at 11:00 h, the Foundation Stone ceremony to build the new Civil Defence Organisation and Volunteer Firefighters joint facilities in the Iris area of the Cumbre del Sol residential Park, in Poble Nou de Benitachell, north access (Benitachell), in front of The Lady Elizabeth Junior School.
The celebration will be attended by Honorable Mr. Serafin Castellano Gomez, Counselor of the Government of the Region of Valencia.
This is fantastic news for the Volunteer Firefighters and the Civil Defence Organisations of Benitachell.
The new group of Civil Defence Organisation was formed on December 13th, 2009 and has since been recognised in town for being a committed contributor of the Local Police, acting as a support in difficult situations and showing how valuable they are for the community.
This civil association will share offices with Volunteer Firefighters, an organisation established in autumn 2000 that has been working hard in fire extinguishing and prevention.
