Bobbin lace being made
If you are fond of crafts and live around Poble Nou de Benitachell, know that the Benitachell Housewives Association (Asociación de Amas de Casa de Benitatxell) is organizing three workshops for the 2010-2011.
The first workshop is bobbin lace and will start on October 20th 2010, every Wednesday from 15:30 to 18:30 h. The second workshop is hemstitch, from October 19th 2010 every Friday from 15:30 to 18:30 h. The third one is embroidery over tulle, and will take place every Monday from 16:00 to 19:00 h, starting on October 18th.
Each course will be 90 hours long and the total price is 90 EUR. To take part in it, you must be a member of the Association (for an annual fee of 12 EUR) and sign up before October 14th at the Town Library. Retired people benefit from a 20% discount, which translates on a final price of 70 EUR for them. Those interested must make a deposit to the Asociación Amas de Casa Benitatxell account on CAM bank, account number 2090/0080/08/0040121573. The deposit slip must be presented at the moment of signup.
