Easter Handicraft Fair Xàbia
Once again you all are invited to the Jávea / Xàbia Easter Handicraft to be held from 14 to 17 April at Xàbia Old Town.
In this fair you will find several stalls with the best traditional products, artisan goods and the side events that we show you below:
Friday 14 April
08:30 h.: Chocolate and cake for the participants of the Easter procession at the Municipal Market of Xàbia.
13:00 h.: Inauguration of the Fairand live musical show by Colla Xirimitab’s.
18:00 h.: “CONTALLES I SONALLES” show featuring storytellers and live music by Rodamons Teatre Company. Venue: Convent Sq.
21:30 h.: “Cançons de fiesta” street musical performance by Romántica del Saladar Band at the Fairgrounds.
Saturday 15 April
10:00 to 13:30 h.: Flea market at Marina Alta Sq. (Post Office Square)
11:00 h.: Puppet theater show featuring NECO, the flamenco puppet and the play “The Mountain of Water” and “The Baker and the Devil” by Titiritienda Puppet Company. Event to be held at Convent Sq.
12:00 h.: Esparto and bakery workshops for children at the Church Sq.
12:30 h.: “Cabezudos” Dolls dance and flute and drums music with “La Colla de Nanos” and “Colla Portitxol” at Convent Sq.
17:00 h.: Puppet Theater show featuring NECO, the flamenco puppet and the play “Benito the Pellegrino” and “The Bald Witch”, by Titiritienda Puppet Company. Event to be held at Convent Sq.
18:30 h.: Open mic session performed by all those who want to participate with their stories, anecdotes, poems, sayings and others along with Rodamons Teatre Compant. Event at Convent Sq.
Sunday 16 April
10:00 h.: Rice-making workshop at the stand of the Montgó Gastronomic Association to be located on Convent Sq.
12:00 h.: Valencian traditional dance in which all the attending public can dance and sing local traditional songs. Venue: Convent Sq.
12:00 h.: “PASEO RODAMONS” musical and theatrical show along the Fairgrounds performed by Rodamons Teatre Company.
18:00 h.: “A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING” Show to close the weekend with stories by Rodamons Teatre Company. Venue: Convent Sq.
19:00 h.: Dance with “Rascanya Klandestina” through the streets and squares of Old Town Xàbia.
Monday 17 April
11:00 h.: Bookbinding and leather workshops by Art e Manya at Convent Sq.
12:00 h.: Lindy Hop and social dance show by Spirit of St. Louis at Convent Sq.
Opening Of the Soler Blasco Museum on Thursday from 10:00 to 13:00 h. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 h. and 18:00 to 21:00 h.
