Hiking trails in Javea – August 2010
Please find below information about the the free hiking trails organized by the Javea/Xabia Town Hall (Alicante) during the month of August 2010, four walking routes starting on the 15th of August 2010.
Walking Route Barraca bay (SL-CV 97) on Sunday August 15th, 2010 at 7pm, the starting point is the viewing point Mirador Cruz Portitxol, the estimated duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes and it is considered a low difficulty route. Do not forget to bring water, comfortable shoes, camera and swimsuit.
Montgo summit hiking trail (CV AB 355) will also take place on August 15th at 8 am, the starting point is the Javea shooting range (Campo de Tiro de Javea), the duration is appoximately five hours and it is considered a medium-high difficulty route, as above, remember to bring water, food, mountain shoes, camera and warm clothing as at the top of the mountain it is quite cool.
Granadella bay Hiking Trail (PR 354 hp), Sunday August 22nd at 8am, departing from the parking area at the Granadella Cove, with a duration of five hours, and medium-high difficulty.
Cala Tangó Hiking Trail (PR-CV 355) Tuesday August 24th at 7pm from the Parking Lonja del Puerto at the port, length of route 1 hour and 30 minutes, low difficulty. Remember to bring water, mountain shoes, camera and swimsuit.
