“Reflexions Territorials del Moscatell de la Marina” is a Conference to be held in Benitachell on 26 and 27 November 2016, where attendants will learn about the latest innovations an news about Muscat grape and local wine culture.

Saturday 26 November 26 at the Social Center

09:00 to 09:30 h.: Reception of assistants and handing of credential and other materials.

09:30 to 10:00 h.: Opening act of the day by Benitachell Mayor Josep Femenia and Jaume X. Soler Marí, President of the Association of Marina Alta Defenders of Moscatell.

10:00 to 10:45h.: “Ecosystem services of Moscatell. The value of the landscape” lecture by Rafael Laborda from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

10:45 to 11:30 h.: “Works with Moscatell at Marina Alta” by Jaume X. Soler Marí from Serveis Agroambientals Marina Alta S.L.

11:30 h.: Coffee break.

12:00 to 12:45 h.: Local vision on the Biomoscatell project by José Manuel Bisetto – technical coordinator of the Biomoscatell project and Benitatxell Agriculture Councilor Manolo Segarra.

12:45 to 13:30 h.: “Moscatell and giro, traditional grape of the Marina Region” lecture conducted by Gutierrez de la Vega winemakers.

Sunday 27 November at the Abiar Centre:  Marina’s Moscatel Wine Tasting

11:00 h.: Opening

11:15 h.: Sant Vicent Ferrer Agricultural Cooperative from Teulada – Francisca Oller Vila.

11:30 h.: Virgen Pobre Valencian Cooperative from Xalò – José Juan Reus.

11:45 h.: “Vi Moraig” Biomoscatell Project from Benitachell -Manu Guardiola Villanueva.

12:00 h.: Celler Les Freses from Jesús Pobre -Mara Bañó Marí.

12:15 h.: Celler Fondarium from Ondara- José Javier Doménech Bertomeu.
