The 2016 Benissa Festival ins coming soon and today we would like to share with you the full program of events scheduled so far:
FRIDAY 22 APRIL
22:30 h.: Coronation Day and Pato Orquestra show and dance at Paseo Dolores Piera.
SATURDAY 23 APRIL: DAY OF THE OFFERING
19.00 h.: Gathering at Convent Sq. of the participants in the offering of flowers to begin the parade to the Parish Church, accompanied by a flute and drums and brass bands.
19:00 h.: Performance of L’Esbart Dansaire dance group accompanied by flute and drums bands at Rei Jaume I Sq.
19:30 h.: Offering of flowers to the Puríssima Xiqueta and imposition of medals to the festival committee
00:30 h.: Fireworks show by Pyrotechnics Dragón.
01:00 h.: Performance of “La Fiesta” band
02:00 h.: Performance of the group “Siniestro Total”
SUNDAY 24 APRIL
11:30 h.: Holy Mass and Sermon in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta
14:00 h.: Firecrackers show
19:00 h.: Solemn procession in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta and fireworks show.
00:30 h.: “Eventime” Musical show
MONDAY 25 APRIL
11:30 h.: Holy Mass and Sermon in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta
14:00 h.: Firecracker show
18:30 h.: Parade of floats
20:00 h.: DIVERPEQUES Children’s show by Eventime
00:00 h.: Traditional hail to Puríssima Xiqueta at the former home of Joan Vives
00:30 h.: Firecracker show and then performance of Seven Crashers Big Band and Titanic
TUESDAY 26 APRIL
14:00 h.: Fraternity lunch of sandwiches and sausages by “Galan” to be held at Rei Jaume I Sq.
18:00 h.: Comedy parade with popular participation, batucada music and brass bands.
22:00 h.. Rock night with the performance of groups: Egalité, Boikot, Itaca Band, Mai Mai and then DJ Son.
WEDNESDAY 27, THURSDAY 28 and FRIDAY 29 APRIL
18:30 h.: Cow release
19:00 h.: Cow release
23:30 h.: Cow release and bullfighting for children
SATURDAY 30 APRIL
14:00 h.: Giant Paella in Dolores Piera Park
16.30 h.: Dance and party with La Tribu Big Band in Dolores Piera Park
19:00 h.: Release of cows
21:30 h.: Pirámide disco show
