Route to Pla de Petracos
Today we would like to share with you the information about the tour organized by the AMUX (Friends of Javea Museum Association) around the urban and natural surroundings of Castell de Castells to be held on Sunday 20 March.
The tour will kick off at 09:30 h. from Jávea bus station. At 11:00 h. the tour is scheduled to visit the Museum of Castell de Castells, in which we will get an overview of the town, it history and culture. After that, we will visit the Cave Art Gallery where we will see two videos: one on the spread of Neolithic from Middle East and other dedicated exclusively to the Plat of Petracos paintings.
Lunch in a local restaurant is scheduled at 13:00 h. and after that we can visit Pla de Petracos UNESCO world heritage site, where we can see paintings of ancient societies’ beliefs, agriculture and livestock based lifestyle, etc.
Return to Javea is scheduled at 16:30 h.
The tour price is 30 € for AMEX members and 35 € for nonmembers. Food and water is incuded.
