Women’s Week in Benitatxell

 

Today we would like to inform you about the activities to take place in Benitatxell occasion of the celebration of Women’s Week and organized by the Association of Housewives, Lucentum consumers and the City Council.

1 March

19:00 h.: Opening of the exhibition of photos of Fotodona photographic contest at the Municipal Library. Exhibition opened until 8 March.

4 March

19:00 h.: Award ceremony of Fotodona photographic contest at the Municipal Library.

7 March

18:30 h.: Opening of the exhibition “Vestidos de Novia y Novio” (“Bride and Groom Dresses”) at the basement of the Community Center

19:00 h.: “Visibles i fermes, trencant silencis i tabús des de l’art i el feminismo” (Visible and steady, breaking silences and taboos through art and feminism) Lecture by Irene Ballester, also in the Community Centre

8 March

19:00 h.: Lecture “The Metabolic Cure” at the Community Center.

9 March

21:00 h.: dinner with a popular menu at the Community Center. After that, there will be a dance with the MC Antoni Catala. Those who wish to attend the dinner and dance must first register Monday or Tuesday from 16:30 to 18:30 h. at the headquarters of the Housewives Association.

10 March

16:00 h.: afternoon games in the Social Centre

18:30 h.: Chocolate and cake snack.

11 March

18:00 h.: Termomix Workshop at the Social Center

22:00 h.: “El tío d’Amèrica” and “La barraqueta del Nano” Theater farce at the community center by Nou de Gorga theater company.

12 March

Dinner and dancing at Canor halls conducted by MC Antoni Catala. Price of dinner is 5 € for members and 28 € for non-members.
