On Saturday the 26th of June, the El País newspaper published in its El Viajero traveller’s guide supplement a report called “Lets go…..to the Beach”, an article which gives an overview of the Spanish beaches, entitled Shoes off! The Spanish coast, from A to Z. And the best offers for hiding on the beach in July and August. The beach that appears under the letter “LL” is the Cala Llebeig cove in Benitachell (Alicante).

The article refers to the Cala Llebeig Benitachell (Alicante) with the following words: We start out from the levelled area above the beach Moraig. After a 45 minute walk halfway up the cliff, you come across walled cavities used by fishermen and smugglers. You can hear the amplified sound of the waves.
